New Hampshire Contrast
Gramma Lizzie Warren attracts about 700 people at an outdoor stage for a primary political gathering to hear her speak.
Trump is greeted by 12,000 INSIDE an arena and 5,000 OUTSIDE watching the rally on big screens. Trump had 500% more watching from outside than Gramma Lizzie had at her main event.
This in a state with a recent history of voting Democrat.

Re: U.S. Politics
Mohamed El-Erian, one of the most respected economists in the US, set some people straight on the negative yield curve on the day that it was happening -- as it was happening. And what's the source? One of the favored financial news sources of the doom & gloom crowd: Yahoo!
Watch it. An outline follows:
El-Erian stated plainly that investors should only be alarmed in that it is a "self-feeding expectation" where investors panic over something that is not critical and stop spending because they "think" a recession is coming. El-Erian then laid out the scenario of how the economy contracts on rumors with business cutting back, laying off workers, profits down due to no spending, the economy slows down and actually goes into a recession that wasn't going to happen.
That is EXACTLY what I stated the day after all the hoopla began over the negative yield curve.
For those who need reminding:
El-Erian said that this current yield curve is heavily distorted by two things:There is nothing more sinister than globalists attempting to erode US consumer confidence, strike fear in their wallets, get them to sit on their increased wages and stop purchasing. When consumers stop purchasing, one of the biggest market drivers is gone. The domino effects start happening -- sales go down, profits go down, stock market reacts negatively to lower profits, worker layoffs, higher unemployment, hiring stops, wages drop, companies begin to sell off assets and stop expanding, negative GDP starts occurring, and here comes the media's predicted recession -- that they stoked.
1. Negative rates in Europe. $16 Trillion in bonds trading in negative yields.
2. The unhealthy co-dependence between markets and The Fed.
These distortions are driving the yield curve, not the economy or market conditions in the US.
As I have said previously in this thread, the Fed (Powell) has not communicated well for markets to understand them. El-Erian says the very same thing.
El-Erian criticizes the Fed on three points. Watch it. The Fed has put themselves in a corner.
El-Erian recommends that investors keep their US investments because the US is still better off economically than Europe. The US economy is in good shape, and even if it slows down, there's no guarantee that rate cuts will improve things. If the Fed does NOT lower rates, they run the risk of being blamed if things turn south.
The markets are holding the Fed hostage, which is a new phenomenon.
El-Erian has been warning about the vulnerability of Europe. Germany, the powerhouse economy, has had a second quarter of contraction.
El-Erian also discusses China's structural imbalance.
The US is in a better place in terms of momentum and robustness.
El-Erian then provided some very good news for the US in the final minute of his interview. Watch it.
More with El-Erian later. He clarifies his points even further in an analysis to follow that affects the separate goals of Main Street and Wall Street (which I also alluded to earlier in this thread).

"Pricing in a likely recession next year ..." -- damn lie; but the AP is in on the GET TRUMP mission.Global stock markets looked set to end a turbulent week on a positive note although worries about the U.S. economy and the trade conflict between the U.S. and China still have the potential to derail Friday’s recovery.
Investors in stocks were spooked earlier this week by developments in the U.S. bond market, which was pricing in a likely recession next year. Add in worries over the trade conflict between Washington and Beijing, Brexit, weak economic performance in Germany and political unrest in Hong Kong and stock markets have endured one of their worst weeks this year.

So you're quoting a poll because you like its results (while simultaneously conceding that the results put this poll in a very small minority, thus calling the accuracy of those results into question by definition, at least to the extent that they warrant further examination). Isn't that precisely what you accused me of doing?

"Not for sale: Danish MPs ridicule idea of Trump buying Greenland"
But rumors are starting The Golden Wonder maybe looking to Canada and buying Baffin Island which only has 13,148 population where as Greenland has 55,877. Some concerns would be that inhabitants would have to give up the Metric system and schools would have to teach about the Civil War, 2nd Amendment etc But this could be accomplished
Along the same lines as other countries with Illegal Immigrants, Tramp could post them there for futher processing. With it being an island less number of Camp Leaders would be required but locals could be freely utillized
If succeding in this endeavour there will (once again just rumor) a lottery to name the new aquisition. Some names already floating around are Trumpsville, Fred Trumps' Beach Resort ( a bit more attractive for the Illegals)
Donny is waiting for his meeting with Kim Jong-un North korea's Leader to uderstand how he runs his Resorts, one being Hyanghari, known euphemistically as 'resorts', where members of the country's political elite are imprisoned/vacationing

So in actuality, Trump had 800% to 900% more watching from outside than Gramma Lizzie had at her main event.

Those numbers were incorrect. According to the Manchester Fire Marshal there were over 11,500 people inside the arena, and an estimated 8,000 to 9,000 outside watching on big screens. Right at 20,000 in total attendance.New Hampshire Contrast

If you don't accept any of it, that's okay.
But you're really playing an intellectual game of semantics here, aren't you?
First you cite the Zogby poll:
...saying that "if these numbers hold up, ..." implying that they're accurate now.
Then you suggest looking at an average of the Zogby and Fox polls, again implying that they both have some validity:
But then you change tacks completely, saying that you cited Zogby not because you believe his poll to be accurate, but because it's an oddity, an item of curiosity:
Do you believe that Zogby's numbers are accurate? Or did you cite the poll as an oddity, an outlier?
Re: U.S. Politics
I stated why I posted the poll results.
I even suggested if it was wrong and averaged with your poll that would still be a Republican advantage.
Every poll I post is wrong. Every poll you post is correct. Deal.

Some fundamentals to keep in mind relative to the US economy and recessions. Year-over-Year, the average wage growth of Americans has been UP 3.5%. The average overall income has been UP 5.4%. Unemployment is still below 4% and inflation is below 1.5%. Wages are beating inflation easily.
The US consumes over 75% of its own goods and services, and some economists believe this number exceeds 80%. As a result, the US economy has a very low reliance on exports. This allows Main Street to be self-sustainable and insulates the US economy from many of the negative impacts that is caused and faced by the world economy.
Because Wall Street is invested in the global economy -- not just the US -- they run economic risks from world events. Supply chains being moved out of China and the downturn of the economy in the EU is affecting Wall Street. Main Street is far less affected, but Main Street is where Trump's focus has always been with his agenda of "America First."
As long as consumers in the US (2/3 of the US economy) continue to thrive on Main Street and spend money, the US economy will do better than others and be better insulated from global events. A global slowdown will have some effect, but it won't have the same impact as in other countries that depend on trade. A good example is what is currently happening in Germany -- the strongest economy in the EU.
The events happening during the past week and continuing are a direct result of Trump's de-globalization efforts through the "America First" agenda. Main Street wins because it is invested in America. Wall Street is nervous because of the past decades that they have actually hurt US business and jobs and encouraged globalization and more investments overseas. Lots of jobs were lost overseas and the US trade deficit widened as a result. Those overseas investments are hurting now because of de-globalization, and Trump's focus is still Main Street.
A recession is to the benefit of Wall Street if it will stop Trump and subsequently stop his policies; but in the process, Main Street will be harmed greatly. Wall Street needs a globalist in the White House to preserve their wealth. Don't think for one minute that there aren't forces at work to do something to flip this script. Globalists have trillions of dollars at stake. They're not just going to sit there without an effort to stop Trump -- even if they have to lie. Has lying stopped anyone on a GET TRUMP mission for the past three years?
Wall Street and Main Street have different goals, and I'm shocked that all of the LIBs, who scream to high heaven about Wall Street greed and CEOs and screwing over the little guy, aren't seeing it and recognizing what's going on. But I know why they're purposely blind to it and not calling it out. It's about GET TRUMP BECAUSE TRUMP. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend." LIBs have made no secret that they want a recession to occur if it means that Trump is not re-elected in 2020. Their hopes are well documented.
You're getting a front row seat on how globalism and socialism destroys if things don't go their way and the lengths to which they'll extend themselves. If they truly cared about the little guy -- the workers, Main Street, Joe Lunchbox -- they wouldn't be cheering the demise of Main Street just to GET TRUMP. However, for LIBs, the end always justifies the means.

Juliette Gardella WAS a Democrat who joined the #WalkAway movement. She is one of thousands who has left the Democrat party since 2016. She attended her first Trump Rally in New Hampshire this past week.
The following is her story:
Hi everyone, I went to my first Trump rally and I’ve got to tell you all this story because this experience, for me, destroys the “Trump is the divider in chief’’ narrative. It was truly an amazing experience!
Here’s my story: My friend and I are celebrating 40yrs of friendship and decided to do something awesome to commemorate it so we chose this. We are from Massachusetts and thought a trip to a New Hampshire Trump rally would be fun. We wanted the full experience (and choice seating) so we decided to go the night before and camp out. We checked into our hotel a mile away. Upon arrival, we ran into a couple who were there for the rally too. They were Latino and the lady, Rosa, even hugged us as we headed to our room. She and her husband were so cute. She was so thrilled to be a part of this. I mention her because this was our first encounter on our journey and it was just a sweet introduction to what we would experience throughout.
We walked from the hotel to SNHU. We got there early evening nearly empty handed (no tents, chairs etc. We were just gonna go full beast mode and camp out with minimal supplies. We knew we didn’t need much to have a great time together, so we winged it. We went there with some drinks, snacks, a change of clothes, our bubbly personalities and 2 towels we borrowed (from the hotel we paid for in case it was too dangerous for us at the venue) (and yes we returned the towels undamaged). There were about 40 people already set up camp style. So we went to the end of the line with our tiny bags and we introduced ourselves to our neighbors in front of us. They were a group of 4 men who instantly greeted us, offered us food, drink, and a seat in their group. Now to most people, this would seem dangerous/nefarious due to us being 2 women and them being 4 “white men” (you know, those dastardly toxic masculine men). In other circumstances, she and I would’ve been courteous but would have declined any such invitation since we are both married. This time was different. We knew we were all there for our love for our country and our president so we joined in. We sat, chatted and shared our minimal supplies. Turns out they (the 4 men) didn’t come together. They also were just neighbors in line who mingled together too. 2 were cousins, 1 was there holding a place for him and his wife who was across the street in the hotel, and the other guy was holding spots for his friends arriving the following morning. So here were 6 ppl from MA, VT & ME, complete strangers brought together by their love for our country. As the evening went on, we exchanged stories, talked politics, and shared laughs and even picked up another friend who winged it too. By the time bedtime came around, these gentlemen all offered us something to make us more comfortable. We got blankets from our VT friends, a yoga mat from our ME friend and our bellies were full with food from our MA friend. But most importantly, we felt safe and secure.
My friend and I cuddled together on the yoga mat and dozed off for maybe an hour or so in total. Fast forward to 5am. She and I walked to dunkin donuts to buy our friends coffee and breakfast as a thank you for the care and safety they provided us throughout the night. During the mile walk we encountered more and more of “us”. (Reminded me of this wonderful group). As we walked back to our spots our friends saved for us in our camping line, turns out we were just a few feet away from a large Vietnamese family all wearing matching “Vietnamese for Trump” shirts. I’m sure you will see them as they were interviewed many times. They were adorable and passionate about USA.
There was nothing but love all around. We experienced nothing negative. Everyone was all smiles, nods, hat tips and compliments on patriotic attire. The blend of race, religion, gender, age & orientation was beautiful. There were no “groups of identities” dividing us. We were all just one big family of Americans who love our country. We saw nothing but love and community. We were united. It was beautiful, simply beautiful. It was the America we knew existed.
I’d also like to mention how clean it was after the fact. Not a speck of garbage left behind after we all camped out for nearly 24 hours.
If there’s anything I would suggest to you, I would definitely tell you to go to at least 1 Trump rally. It’s an experience of a lifetime and a real eye opener as to real American unity. And it will truly expose the MSM lies of Trump losing his voters. Check out the video. The arena was already filled to capacity. Those were the people who stood outside for hours just to watch and support our President. They could have watched him in the comfort of their own home but they chose to be there and stand together. Incredible!
I will never forget this experience. I thought the highlight would be seeing the President right in front of me but it turns out that was just the cherry on top. The greatest gift I got from this was from the Patriots there. I never felt so comfortable and alive. I made new friends and strengthened the bond with my lifelong bestie. It was just simply amazing. With all that said, I wish you all peace, love and happiness. Stay strong and keep the faith. America is still a beautiful melting pot.
The picture below of the group is us with our new Patriot family of friends. We went there as 2 and left there with a family. I am so happy and proud to be an American. WWG1WGA
It’s important to note that I would NEVER camp outside to see a celebrity or to get tickets or the newest must have gadget or anything like that. I certainly wouldn’t willingly sleep on cement! Especially in a strange place surrounded by strangers. So this is huge for me to do.
