GT93 Why would you be sad?
This is what they (USA citizens) want and are unprepared to do anything about it like other countries (New Zealand, Canada, Switzerland etc). So it is just best to turn ones head and let them enjoy their guns and target practice
As Pat Robertson the USA Evangelist said "More Bullets and Bibles!!!"

Totally agree Doodoo.
Just head butting the wall trying to get sensible gun law agreement from the majority of the patriotic, gun slinger citizens of the good old US of A.

Yawn, only five killed. almost not worth reporting, this one will blow over in 24 hours.

Shouldnt this outdo the killings in the US

or is it they dont count

Marikana
16 August 2012. The Marikana massacre was the single most lethal use of force by South African security forces against civilians since 1960’s Sharpeville incident. The incident resulted in 47 deaths and 78 injuries. Beginning as a wage-related strike at a Lonmin owned mine in the Marikana area, the first incidents of violence were reported to have started on 11 August. National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) leaders allegedly opened fire on NUM strikers marching toward their offices, resulting in two strikers sustaining serious injuries. Between 12 and 14 August, ten people were killed. This included six mine workers, two Lonmin security guards and two SAPS members. On 16 August, all hell broke loose as an elite special unit of the SAPS opened fire on a group of strikers, killing 34 miners within minutes. The vast majority of all those killed at Marikana were killed by fire from the R5 assault rifles used by the SAPS. In response to the Lonmin strike, a wave of wildcat strikes across the South African mining sector followed. These events, collectively, made 2012 the most protest-filled year in post-apartheid South Africa. Marikana made the headlines again last month when 11 people were shot and killed in a shebeen, as well as in and around a number of shacks.

They have the same principle as the US "we can own as many guns as we want it is our right"
So I say why worry?

Makes the British idea of planting plain cloths cops into the picket lines to start trouble pale into insignificance doesnt it.

Really!!! Where did you get that information, are you in the secret services and have access to all the sensitive information us mere mortals have no access too. Utter tosh. Undercover cops are planted into radical groups/anarchist organisations to get information not to start trouble in picket lines. Which picket lines were you referring too?
