Life Certificate Paper..were..

..went to have my Swedish Life Certificate Papers stamped and signed today at the Goverment house in Udon.No go,she wanted me to have the papers translated to Thai ..Said thank you and went to Immi Office,lady in slot 2 wanted not 500 but 1000Bath to stamped it..Went home in the rain,angry,sad,upset..you name it.

So i humbly ask you Forum readers,can i have it veryfied and stamped somewere else the Immi?I thaught it was a FREE service,not a 1000Bath worth of "servicecharge"..Can i have it done at the Tessaban/Goverment house,if so..were?

I got a teacher do. Throw in few baht. and also copied my latest 90 day report page stamped.
Never got a confirmation but that was about 6 months ago!... Still get me pension!

Thanks CC for that replye,,jepp Immi people how can they live with all the corruption/stealing going on.Not the way to honor their Uniform at all.That aside,going to have a go tomorrow,after my hot temper cool down abit

Udon is the only immigration office I see now without signs advising not to pay bribes or tips that tells you enough

Alfie . I dont know if this helps , but i got mine done at the local tesaban office in Banjan.
The head man could not read or speak english , and one of the girls working there coulld only speak a small amount of English , but the wife explained it to them , and he signed and stamped no problem.
No money involved , even thouth i offered to pay for their time .

Alfie, I Got mine Stamped by The BOSSMAN In the Post Office in Nong Khai, Sent it back to U.K That was about 7 Months Ago, I'm Still getting My Pittance of The U.K Pensions Office.......NO Pay at the Post Office ( Only to send it back Recorded Delivery )

You can always go to a Pharmacy that you use, can sign for you and stamp it.

Now I think you all will be flabbergasted and will not believe this, but it is the truth and nothing but . . .. But in the past(about 8 years back) I used to go to the main police station in Udonthani. At the top floor. "foreigner's department" Signed and stamped within a few minutes. No questions and No money involved!! Yes, the POLICE! (not the tourist police though! They asked for 300 baht, so I kept going to the main station for 3 or 4 times)! Nowadays I have to go to the SSO (Social Security Office) mandatory. Seems to be a deal between the Dutch and Thai government, also no money(payment ) involved

Well due to my own fault i was VERY late doing my paperwork,and as you might know if the papers come in to late to the Sweden,they stop paying me.So that said and after trying Tessaban/Govermenthouse whith no luck and time running out..I went back to Immi..paid them 1000Bath..no reciept..and hopefully that was the last time i used them for that purpose..I thaught it was like 500Bat no reciept..no 1000Bath..
