No I would say bad news for the general world population, as in this case you can insult someone and it is okay to besmirch their reputation, however it was conluded that a court case , is also up to the credibility of the witnesses and as in this case a younger jury accepted what was one off tweet as a mere tweet with no intent behind it. However repeated remarks in a si9m,ilar vein would be different . But the world is changing has changed the boundaries of libel certainly, but only in the USA, not the same for other countries I suspect.

A victory for common sense ,is how i see it .
If Musk was potless , would Unsworth have bothered sueing ? I dont think so , it was always about money , and how to get something for nothing .
Musk said ---- you , see you in court , when he could of quite easily paid Unsworth a couple of million to drop the case .
Which to him amounted to loose change , but no , he stuck to his principles and took a lot of stick for it .

If this is the only court decision on this spat, it's a dreadful outcome for Unsworth. He'll be regarded in some less well informed quarters as a suspected peddo (doubled to get around a software restriction). It will be interesting to see if he pursues it in another jurisdiction.
