Re: Iran firing Missiles in US Assets in Iraq
Iran sells all of its oil to China.
Any disruptions to that supply would be an act of war.
How might China defend itself?
By occupying all of Asia, with the exceptions of India, S Korea, and Japan.

No the raghead General/Sean Connery double now know as General Grease spot was killed for supplying the Shia militia in Iraq the EFPs years ago. The opportunity was ideal to whack him the guy got lazy and stupid. Everything else your hearing is for people that are having a hard time dealing with the notion of paybacks. The missiles fired yesterday was Iran trying to save face. The Iranian nation and military is as joke. There is no point in going to war with them because new stupider will replace old Stupid. It’s really sorta that simple
Re: Iran firing Missiles in US Assets in Iraq
Well then maybe Trump and his henchman might want to get their story straight as to why this was done. New reason everyday.tigerryan wrote: ↑January 9, 2020, 3:32 amNo the raghead General/Sean Connery double now know as General Grease spot was killed for supplying the Shia militia in Iraq the EFPs years ago. The rest of the world certainly has had a new definition of stupid since January 2017, but apparently, not so a sizeable chunk of the US population.tigerryan wrote: ↑January 9, 2020, 3:32 amNo the raghead General/Sean Connery double now know as General Grease spot was killed for supplying the Shia militia in Iraq the EFPs years ago. That's about as simple as anyone could possibly be.
Re: Iran firing Missiles in US Assets in Iraq
Right now the U.S. is the world's largest producer so no impact. But their fracking isn't sustainable so this time next year, having Iran's oil in reserve would be handy.newtovillagelife wrote: ↑January 8, 2020, 7:52 pmSpiking world oil prices would put a dent in the US economy also. Not a smart move if you want to get reelected.glalt wrote: ↑January 8, 2020, 5:23 pmDo I need a source? This is my opinion and logically destroying their main source of income would cause their economy to further crumble. I'm sure I'm not the only one who recognizes this without causing a great number of deaths.TJ wrote: ↑January 8, 2020, 3:57 pmThis the first I've read that President Trump had a plan to take out any Iranian oil fields. Source?
A more measured response would be to destroy the single Iranian petroleum refinery. I have read that they have only one. They then would have to import all their petroleum products which would place an additional strain on their weak economy, due to the import cost and the effect of supply shortages.
Re: Iran firing Missiles in US Assets in Iraq
The Iranian counterstrike was the equivalent of firing Kalashnikov's in the air. The Iranian pro-Revolutionary media is reporting 80 US servicemen deaths and 200 injured and claiming that victims were hurriedly extracted via helicopter as a reason for having no photographic or video evidence to support their fallacious claim. Symbolism and rhetoric... It ain't just Trump who's doing it.Kenr6583 wrote: ↑January 9, 2020, 3:04 amSo let me get this straight, Trump has and Iranian General killed because apparently his people stormed the embassy in which no one was harmed, but he backs down from going after Iran after they shoot missiles at two bases in Iraq where the US military was housing because no Americans were harmed. How in the hell does that make sense?
Re: Iran firing Missiles in US Assets in Iraq

How come the "Biggest & best equipped military in the world" according to POTUS, even after 6 hours notice was given by the "enemy", failed to take out any of the 22 missiles BEFORE they hit the bases? ........ must have been a problem with the WIFI link to that multi billion dollar satellite (bit like the CCTV failures in Epsteins prison cell)

I was wondering that too. So far they've hit oil production in Saudi . Not a single interception, now another attack with none intercepted ? Someone forgot to plug in the defences. Re: Iran firing Missiles in US Assets in Iraq
Doodoo, do try to keep up ..........the date (or facts) have absolutely nothing to do with Trumpisms.
The only thing of relevance is whether Trump can blame Obama for something going wrong. His supporters and the Fox News editors will believe him no matter how stupid it is

Re: Iran firing Missiles in US Assets in Iraq
I think only Israel's main conurbations benefits from the iron dome' anti-ICBM system that not only detects incoming missiles but targets and destroys them. For a few hundred US servicemen in remote air bases in the Iraqi boondocks, they detect them coming and everyone heads for the bunkers. All defense and very little offense... a bit like the lackluster Patriots.papafarang wrote: ↑January 9, 2020, 5:15 pmI was wondering that too. So far they've hit oil production in Saudi . Re: Iran firing Missiles in US Assets in Iraq
don't believe they have any anti-ballistic missile defense systems in Iraq. They do have Phalanx Close in Weapons Systems (CIWS) that use a radar directed 20mm gatling gun.. They are effective against short range rockets, RPG's and mortar rounds. https://www.armyrecognition.com/united_ ... video.html
Dave
Re: Iran firing Missiles in US Assets in Iraq
The US Navy uses the phalanx systems to combat the wave top skimming cruise anti ship missiles. Radar cannot detect these very low flying missiles so the phalanx system relies on infrared. This makes for short range protection. This same system defends against against Iran's small boat swarms.
