Interesting that the local municipality are on the markets advising people re Corona Novel, advising us to wear masks etc, makes you wonder is it more serious than we know? It's not insignificant that they're all masked, I think they're here to stop people worrying but it seems to be having the opposite effect. They seem quite impressed the farang is already wearing a mask, I don't like to tell them it's because I have the lurgy and don't want to give it to anyone else.

You are welcome but my statement is not racist, just factual. The virus started in China, China has over 60 million people locked down to try to stop the spread, Hong Kong has closed it's borders to China as has other countries. It is Chinese that are spreading the virus. If it was another country with this virus I would say the same thing. The only difference is the greedy Thai government will not stop them from entering the country so you will have a much larger amount of people getting sick. Wait and see.

Interesting that the Wuhan Optician/Doctor that whistle blew mid December who was then subsequently arrested by the Chinese authorities for causing severe civil disturbance has just died, of Corona Novel. As well as highlighting the disease he also said that a person can become infected in the eye, sort of dispelling the myth that masks offer protection, I remain convinced that worse is to come.

Over 400 million on lockdown at this point. Tecent, a huge international Chinese company, allegedly put out the real total of infected and dead either accidentally or intentionally. This is quite scary but a week ago nearly 25,000 had already died according to a screen grab:

The Thai health minister Anutin Charnvirikul was handing out face masks at a sky train stop in bkk when he lashed out saying all western tourists should be kicked out for not wearing face masks saying it annoys him seeing westerners not wearing them walking around. Yet there happy continuing allowing Chinese flights in and out Money number 1 always his next. Statement will be fine a farang for not wearing 1 nice little earner.

Of course anyone who leaves China now can carry the virus, Chinese or not. The vast majority of people leaving China are Chinese and the virus originated in China. These are not racist statements, just facts. Another fact for you. Thailand is the second most likely country in the world to get this virus after China. This is because of the amount of cases Thailand has and the large amount of Chinese tourists that are being welcomed into the country with only a heat scan at the airport which does not detect the virus if a person is a carrier with no symptoms. One more thing. why quarantine Thai evacuees from China for 2 weeks and allow Chinese tourists to cruise through the airport into the general population? Dumb and dumber, hey lets make a movie.
