This morning for the first time this decade, saw my breath at 0630 hrs, cold is not the word.brrrrrrr

Last night in the village was the lowest temp.yet 7° recorded at 5-6 am .. right now the evening air is thick with the smoke n smell.from.everyone burning uka wood ..looking like another chilly one in bannorksville .

Must say it really is a nice change from.the usual heat n humidity

Mrs tam advises that this is apparently the most prolonged cold 'snap' in Thailand in over 10 years.

Typically they are 2-3 day events and you eventually get your t-shirts back from the dogs.

• those masks will not protect you
• washing your hands often with soap and water is best protection
• gas prices will hit un-seen lows since the 60's

Yes I was mistaken and advised to my error that Iran is actually colder than we are, hence the Virus spread. Here a balmy 37 at 1600 hrs, too hot to potter so an Ice Cold Rum and Coke goes down nicely .
Agree with previous poster p-lus we must all wash our DIRTY FARANG bodies to avoid displeasing the Numpty in Bangkok
