Try 17.8 for an ATM withdrawal or TT at Bangkok Bank, and selling an AUD note to the bank will only get you 17.5 at Bangkok Bank.
Here's the best site for up to the minute changes in rates at most all Thai banks:

Colossians 2:8-10...See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, which are based on human tradition and the spiritual forces of the world rather than on Christ. For in HIM dwells all the fullness of the GODHEAD bodily; and you are complete in HIM, who is the head of all principality and power.

Only upside here is no new cases in China. If they can then get their factories open and running, demand for raw materials will recover. That should have an impact on the dollar.
Domestic consumption is awful with hospitality hit a devastating blow and retail not far behind.

Best being part of this forum by placing the intellectual challenged on foes list. A lot less post to read and a great time saver.

GREAT for those of us who still maintain a USD account from our working days!
AUD tanked to 54 cents in 2003, 55 last Friday, near 59 today but still good for me.

I might send a hundred a day over the isolation shutdown period for incidentals depending on the rate.
I don’t think it costs any extra to send many required amounts.
Hope my beer supplier stays open.

If using TW it’s about 60 to 80 Baht for each transfer/payment to your bankBarney wrote: ↑March 27, 2020, 11:26 amYeah747man wrote:Wot ?? Only A 100 Bucks Barney ?? Well I Suppose that'll pay for yer Beer This Weekend![]()

Re: AUD Exchange Rate = 18 Baht
Transferred a lazy 500 AUD this morning and the first time for a while that the rate was above 20bht.
Super investment schemes are moving up again as well.
Hopefully the confidence in the economy continues.

Thanks Barney.
Good new on both fronts. I just checked with Transferwise, and well over 20.
With super, only dropped about 10%, which is far better than during the GFC. Some time to go yet, of course.

Yep, spitting blood just now. Had to transfer 20K GBP mid last month for extension rules. Same money would have earned 40K+ baht this week. Thats a lot of Chang. Bugger is not quite the adjective I am looking for.tamada wrote: ↑March 20, 2021, 11:13 amThe British Groat is also showing signs of life.Barney wrote: ↑March 20, 2021, 6:48 amAUD trying really hard to hit 24 now.Barney wrote:Good to see the Aussie dollar finnaly break the 21 bht mark.
