ok, been testing out that slow cooker, works fine, some beef stew
ribs, a little falling of the bones too much, had hard time taking out of cooker, the rap in foil with sauce for some grill time, and tasty, just need a fork.
where would a philly boy be without his cheesesteak and hoagie (hero or sub sandwich for you non philly folk)
made lasagna the other nigh, sorry, no pic, but tasty.

bread, found on (K13 in mar/apr2007map) sri chomchun rd, across from srisuk soi 1 and 2 at southern end of road before 'T' intersection, i think. when you turn the corner off of amphoe rd, it's your first morning vendor doing breakfast on left side heading north/west (if you pass 7-11 on same side, u went too far). rather large vendor, with seating in back. all kinds of goodies. you have to arrive early in morning (before 9) as they run out. 2 types sitting there, one plain, one with butter and sugar 10/15 baht. unless needing a sugar fix, the plain will do. the bread doesn't have a whole lot of flavor on it's own, but has a nice glutin texture, chewy, and won't fall apart while eating. stores nicely in freezer for a week. stays fresh out for 3-4 days, tho never lasting that long. the vendor makes a nice little sandwich, those 5 baht things w/mystery meat, and they add that dried pork stuff and little chili sauce, yummy
hmm, i've been here long enough, i really should start learning they names of all this stuff.
