Alan, Monday was a Thai holiday (Chakri Day) so the banks were closed.
Maybe that explains the delay ?
Try not to worry, old chap.

In a word , YES ! I like you was a tad concerned , not over whether they pay it but whether the Thai banks were working as normal.

Banks should be open.
See below for announcement from Bank of Thailand stating the Songkran Holidays are postponed and new dates will be decided later.

I used to have the UK forces pension paid directly to the K Bank and it was very irregular. I switched to being paid to my Transferwise account and the payment is like clockwork and has never been late. Transferwise sends a notification when the payment has been received. The transfer from Transferwise to the K Bank takes about 4 hours (depending on day and time of transfer).

I have mine paid to my UK account and only send over by Transferwise it if I need it BUT I was paid yesterday (early) and not the due date that should have been this coming Monday - only reason I can think of it's a Bank Holiday on Monday but not had that before
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left

Question please, when using Transferwise do they record that the money is coming from abroad for Immigration purposes?

Bread Man, I have been using TW for about 2 years. I only had a problem once when they transferred my money to K-Bank instead of BB. What happens is sometimes like on US holidays and them being on first of month they want the money to get to you on date they say. They have other Banks in Thailand so they send money to them and that bank does an interbank transfer to your account but it doesn't show as International trans at your account. You have to go to the banks office that it transferred from in my case K-Bank. For 200Bt my did a letter that showed the international transfer. This letter worked for Thai immigration's when I went to do yearly. I called TW by phone and explain to them that this money needed to go only to BB in the future because I didn't want to pay 200Bt every time this happen. They said they would do something that would make sure it always went to BB. It hasn't done it again since 11 months ago.

There is no guarantee as
TransferWise is an online money transfer service, which lets you transfer money up to eight times more cheaply than with a bank. The system is beautifully simple. It bypasses pricey international payments entirely by using two local transfers instead of one international transaction.
But if you have a Bangkok Bank account the coding is usually international.
To SCB it is ATS that’s Automatic Transfer System

In my posts all fees and requirements are the standard R&R but TIT and a brown envelope can make incredible changes YMMV.

The main point is that TW makes no guarantee of using an international code.
Some people have had luck contacting them and requesting that all transfers to their BB account originate with TW’s BB account.
You save money but may have problems that wipe out the savings.
The situation is even less clear if you use a borderless account.

STWW might be right I don't know, but what I do know is the account I send my money to for TW is in US and it's a real Bank. Because it's in the States the US Gov insures it for I think up to $50,000 so if my Federal VA and Military Retirement Checks Direct Deposit there I feel pretty safe as with any other Bank in states. I don't know if UK has anything like that but as STWW says you might have problems. For other US members on forum that want to check if their bank try the link below. You just need the name to search but in may case there were several so and some inactive so used routing number to locate which one was mind.
