Native to bats but doing the jump to humans in it's native form would take several generations of bat eaters and a Pangolin or two. This one was reverse-engineered in a bio-lab in China so that the spiky bits would more easily enter the cells of non-bats.

No-One has ever said it did come from P{OOR HYGIENE , have they .
What they have said that our POOR HYGIENE STANDARDS, helped it to be transmitted, hence the age old rule, wash your hands , stop touching your face and being more aware that Personal Hygiene will help to slow the transmission.

That was simple obviously to some even that simple message got lost or went completely over their heads.
