I find it interesting at the trivial things the haters can find to condemn. They obviously need those things to keep their misery level topped up. Heaven forbid that they should ever find anything good to say. I have always found that if you have nothing good to say, keep your mouth shut. Different opinions are to be expected but the amount of hate here is unreasonable.

DM, there have been a number of young women/young mothers/fathers on virtually every UK news programme during the last few weeks who have been in tears saying they are scared at the thought of having to go through their childbirth without their partner there to help them through the birth because Boris & his cronies have banned their boyfriends/spouses from being with them at the birth due to social distancing, but of course social distancing should't have to apply to him should it.
Suppose its no worse than making it illegal to travel to your second home then being caught at your Herefordshire 2nd home when you and your wife live in London & your child attends a London school
typial Tory hypocrisy
My maternal grandmother spat out 16 kids through the Great Depression, between the wars while grandad tilled the fields and milked the cows during the day and walked the streets as a cop at night.

Overpaid EPL footballers and England cricket players get to go home and play the dutiful daddy. PM's are supposed to be made of much sterner stuff, especially in thse times. But not this fat blowhard. Another Bullingdon Club member full of cliches and put downs who happens to quote Plato and Socrates. Impresses who now?

This limp-wristed, woke, male-in-touch-with-his-inner-woman nonsense about needing the ball-bearing partner to be bedside is tosh.

Or poppycock as KP would probably say (if he agreed).

The mood that I am getting in the UK is that the Government has done an excellent job thus far. They have been open in their daily briefings and, for the first time in my lifetime, I have been impressed with their measured and articulate approach. They have made mistakes but these are unprecedented times.

I watch Piers Morgan every morning on Breakfast and, whilst it's great entertainment, his attacks on Government have largely been out of step with public opinion.

Bound to be a Turkish name like Cenk or Russian like Igor or perhaps US like Randy to highlight Boris' ethnicity .....doubt it will have a "French" or other EU influence DM

BTW whats wrong with Lettice tam?? apart from it being good old fashioned British "Girls" name when he has a boy

Yes I’m hearing the same.
The forest was shrinking daily but the trees kept voting for the axe as its handle was made of wood and they thought it was one of them.

It was all over the TV news programmes about a month ago
Bingo , exactly . that was a month ago and i think they have reviewed the situation and decided it was unfair so have eased this particular restriction .
Which they put in place to protect not only the NHS staff ,but other patients , and the expectant mothers and babies .
Things are changing on a daily basis at the moment as more is being understood about the virus , and the realisation of how the lockdown is effecting the population .
I expect that Boris was well suited up for the occasion, as were all the medical staff in attendance

As for his misses, they needed to have a small opening in her suit, for some reason.

Ali Kemal after his Gt Grandfather so as to show his muslim roots or maybe Windsor to suggest his 6th cousin (twice removed) relationship to Lizzie or even Pfeffel (his middle name)

If I was a betting man i'd have a few bob on George

According to Carrie Symmonds

“Wilfred after Boris' grandfather, Lawrie after my grandfather, Nicholas after Dr Nick Price and Dr Nick Hart - the two doctors that saved Boris' life last month“
Age & treachery will always triumph over youth & ability
