Anyone honestly worried about power right now? My last bill was about 55% of what I was expecting as a result of the Covid-19 discounts.

Just had an extremely strong wind storm from the South. Spent the last hour battling through it trying not to loose the tin roof from my shed/car port. Managed but dangerous and NOT recommended for an ageing Farang! Wasn't really about loosing the roof BUT the wind direction would have it slammed into my home! Mrs Dero out arranging permanent repairs as I pen this.

knocked nearly half my mangoes off the trees.

A Nice COOL Night on The Riviera with a nice breeze at 2315 hrs & 26c......NO Rain at all To-Day just about an hour of very Strong Winds this afternoon....

Mega storm here in Kham Kling yesturday started around 2.00pm , and raged on and off for about 3 hours .
Heavy rain blown sideways by very strong winds . My garden and drive covered in debris , slight damage to house roof caused by a broken off tree limb , which i have to get down this morning , and do some running repairs to the roof .
However its cooler today so far .
Apparently 10 local cows at Ban Tad were killed by a lightning strike hitting the tree they were sheltering under , which is only about 3 kilometers from me , so i guess i should be grateful our situation was not worse .
Needed the rain , but certainly do not need to be clambering on the roof at my age , but as Forest would say sh8t happens .

The official weather app predictors have once again pushed out any rain till next week. 3 weeks or more in a row. Now using the lookout the door method as suggested by UM’s weather guru.
Lovely cool morning today sitting in complete silence, except for the birds, with a coffee snd the lovely breeze off the irrigation lake.
Unfortunately PEA turned the power off again at 6am. I’m sure there’s a reason, just no notice.

We got the storm here in Nadee, garden covered in debris same, problem was we got not one drop of rain!
