Unfortunately, no rain out here yet.
It's windy and nice and cool.
Sitting outside, couple of coldies, watching lightning, and praying for rain.

Here just NE of Udon still 39 Centigrade today and not a drop. Just one hour of wind (and still hot afterwards.

No Udon is not in the Sahara. The Sahara is cold at night. Not need Air conditioning!

After looking at the weather sites this AM, looking at the Windyty one which shows computerised predictions for rain, storms etc, saw lots of clouds, rain and storms, dancing around our neck of the woods, but nothing substantial for the next few days . There but not there, as it were.

Accu site like to use Scattered , Isolated and Widespread for terms relating to Thunderstorms... showing a chance of rain using a percentage is leaving a huge margin of error as it mostly guesswork IMO.

Winds and Temperatures they seem to get quite accurate from isobar readings etc.

Over the course of my time here i have noticed just how isolated the weather ie RAIN can be .. not just province by province but districts of towns and literally smaller areas close to each other experiencing very differing weather at the same time.

In other words, no-one knows and those that do are not telling, in fact this whole post is a disaster, when one offers a glimmer the oh so articulate amongst you try to rubbish almost anything , so as far as I am concerned, I really do not care if it rains or not as for lightening strikes if I could send a GPS for a strike I would , but that is not an option.

Finally I will say Windyty, have over the years been far more accurate that the others. but then most of you are ex-spurts literally !
