Travel Refund
Re: Travel Refund
airasia has given me credit for 2 years for my 8 flights of next month
The credit will take up to 2 months to be in my account
They are still sending me updates on changes both seating and times for these flights

Re: Travel Refund
Yes, I think I'll get 2 years from Air Asia and the other options. I appreciate they're swamped with enquiries, but it took nearly 2 months for them to respond to my query, after the credit application process had started. Then, because I wasn't the named passenger, they wanted to check that I was the 'paymaster' for the booking. So, I had to send them a mini statement from my bank account. Now, I would have thought they could have checked this themselves from the original booking process, saving some time. I don't suppose it matters if I have to wait another 2 months, if the airline isn't flying? and I'm not planning going anywhere!
Re: Travel Refund
I just went to their office at the airport
Online or phone to difficult
The airport seems to open at 9.00 am

Re: Travel Refund
We had Thai Smile flights booked in April and took the EMD on cancellation. My g/f used her voucher in August and, as the flight was slightly cheaper, she was credited with THB 245.
She now needs a flight Ubon/BKK and I checked online where the cost was THB 1130. As she was going into Ubon, I suggested she drop in at the airport to check cost and book using the EMD. Final cost was actually around THB 600 and the confirmation showed a Covid discount. No idea how it works but, it was a great deal!
Added to that Smile have also confirmed my EMD has validity for 2 years not the original 12 months indicated.

Re: Travel Refund
I got to use some of my Singapore Airlines "flight credits" for a flight Bangkok - Singapore, which in turn is part of a complex flight to Perth next month.
The use of the credits was a straight forward exercise.

Re: Travel Refund
I’ve still got a Thai Smile Udon to Bangkok refund outstanding. Keep getting holding emails from the agent which is more than I got for the international leg but still not a high fat, low fibre offal tube from the airline
