A new strain of flu which has the potential to become pandemic has been identified in China by scientists.
It emerged recently and is carried by pigs, but can infect humans, they say.

These viruses are mutating very quickly and as KP says, China seems to be the place they're coming from. This needs to be nipped in the bud before the world has to go into lockdown again.

Not remotely as serious as COVID as a vaccination would be much easier and faster

Current flu vaccines do not appear to protect against it, although they could be adapted to do so if needed.

The core viruses have been on the planet for millions of years.
Viruses have been spreading and mutating between, animals to animals, animals to humans and humans to humans, forever.
It's hardly been noticed because it would previously only happen in a small way, in a localized area, kill some locals, then disappear.
Only until mass farming of animals, (worldwide, not just China), has assisted the viruses to jump species, then affect larger populations.

We are all at fault, because we don't kill and eat our own food anymore, we buy it from these mass farming, manufacturing facilities.

It's just a result of the amount of people on the planet.
Who's fault is that?
Ours.

It's nature taking it's course, to keep the balance.
It's been doing this for 13 billion years, and has a pretty good track record.
We just don't like it
