Picked up my mince pies and Christmas cake on Tuesday, the pies are delicious & full of fruit with mouth watering pastry, the cake is weighty an indication of also being very fruity, all in all a fruitful visit, nearly time to order the Hot Cross Buns, wish you all a Merry Blue Blue Crimble and a Happy Healthy and Prosperous 2019.

This is a shame that this has come to an end. can you share with us as to why they have ended? they seemed popular and even started to catch on with the Thais

Maybe it is because those that dined at the buffet managed to eat their way through lots of food while consuming one meager drink at the same time.

In Udon a few days n Dao n I fancied a nice lunch so chose the Gallery as its very convenient for us plus arelaxed environment .. being as this was Daos New Year treat cos ive been such a well behaved chap recently DM went hungry very hungry

2 coffees .......................fresh excellent
1 iced thngy for Dao ..........she loved it served in a jam jar
1 coke ..........................tasted like Coke
1 sml draft .................... Limburge Rose wheat brilliant top supplier !!
Napoli pizza ................... i snaffled a slice from Dao very good if you like Anchovies
Chicken Jafrezi ................BRILLIANT
Nan bread n proper chips .....Lush
Greek Salad ................... excellent

A slab of traditional Christmas cake with marzipan and icing some thing had not had for getting on for 20 years !!!
gord it was glorious just like mi mam used to make HIGHLIGHT of the feed .

Everything was spot on , BBC world on telly , service was excellent and a chat with Kevs family made for a very pleasant couple of hours.

Dao got away light with a bill of under 1000 bt.

I enquired about the Friday nice buffet being stopped .. the new menu which has a superb selection is going very very well , the buffet had run its course with a profit but minimal so time to concentrate on the new everyday normal menu.

Can definately recco the place if you want a nice quiet meal in pleasant relaxed surroundings. If some was crap i would have posted so but nothing was .. my only critism the Christmas decorations were still up n i hate em ..BAR HUMBUG !!

i spoke to kevin ,just about everything that he used to do at the buffet are now regular on his menu. So I don't matter , you can still enjoy =D>

I was there last night and I really like the menu additions. Fish and chips great. Plus, as most know, if there is something you like not on the menu and they have the ingredients, they will gladly make it for you.

The new Gallery menu is excellent charlie .. only problem is choosing an item as there are so many i was torn between about 5. Noticing lots of Thai patrons nowadays. I never went to the Friday buffets as the "buffet" is not my scene , but i will most certainly visit more when in Udon.

Dm back in Udon for a couple of days to help Paul n the new team settle in at the Tap and impossible to be in Udon and not go the Gallery for a feed ..
Today good to see Kevin n family and Andy nice n busy and also a few " faces" from the past ,,, the menu just seems to get better not easy to choose but I decided on the bangers n mash .. homemade Cumberland sausages in a rich onion gravy possibly the best banger ive had in Thailand made on premises... pudding was a slice of Christmas cake ... a Bolognase n fresh chilli pizza take away which is going down a treat as i type .... Andy tells me the 500g gammons are back in later this week ..

Jon I totally agree with you and it was great to see you.
Today was my wife’s birthday, to say the the Gallery Restaurant pulled out all the stops would be an understatement, with all our friends and family in attendance it was an absolutely fantastic evening, the food was awesome both Thai and Western, and for them to dim the lights and sing Happy Birthday with a fantastic cake is beyond words of our appreciation, again a huge thank you to Kevin and all of his wonderful family for making this evening so special for us.

Never had a bad meal there n i like the less than hectic surroundings with BBC world on the telly ... any lovers of Christmas cake Fruitcake etc .. its that time of year and the Gallerys comes with real marzipan n icing just like mi mam used to make

IM not a Mexican foody fan so cant comment on the tacos ..however they are most certainly doing a Christmas Dinner and reading the details yesterday and today in the restaurant it sounds great..need to book tho.

Be there tomorrow for lunch, will check out the Xmas details, its close to the main road, so I might try the City bus incase I decide to have to many, might as well check out Chris place as well, that many car on the road just getting to Big C 1 k ride got side swiped by a car turning out of the car park departure lane at Big C onto the main road knocked me off the bike, no injury, thai driver took off, he was trying to beat the cars coming from Nong Han direction underpass, I was just sitting on my bike at the exit land from Big C, waiting for the cars to pass, The Thai behind me waiting to get on the main road went around me hitting the front wheel, he didn't take it wide enough, I think the bus is safer, free Wi Fi take it easy chats

Very pleased to see the Gallery open n fully functional again .. sounds like expansion plans are being hatched to make it bigger and the artists impressions look stunning.

Today lunch was 3 course heaven

Prawn cocktail starter
Main Homemade bangers n mash onion gravy n peas
Afters bread n butter pudding
Mug a Yorkshire Tea n a soft drink ..

Bill 460 bt .. probably one of the nicest lunches ive had, lovely pleasant atmos n service.
