Awesome Alan. A new state of the art stadium for the popular Toffees. \:D/

I also agree upon the need for this stadium.
But there still remains the bothersome decision to be made upon which ground Everton will share, whilst the building work is in progress? The obvious answer would appear to be Liverpool's
What views do the respective supporters hold, and suggestions as to the possible alternatives?

I would of thought Prenton Park would be the obvious choice .. its the colour blue (seating etc) and about the right size capacity wise to house the Toffees comfortably.

The first round of fixtures look interesting, and I feel the results are going to produce one or two surprises.
Based on the prolific number of posts, referencing Everton, Liverpool & Leeds, these are clearly the major matches of interest to members.
It would be interesting to hear from the supporters of these clubs, their expectation of the likely performance and, of course, the result of their teams match.
I think their comments of the performance and results of the other two matches could prove both funny and interesting. :-"

BREAKING NEWS

An agreement between Everton and Real Madrid over the transfer of James Rodriguez could be less than 48 hours away.

The deal would see the Colombian join forces with Carlo Ancelotti for a third time, having played under him at Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.

The 29-year old, who earns around £200,000 a week at the Bernabeu, has been deemed surplus to requirements by Zinedine Zidane.

A medical is expected to take place later this week.

Just what Everton need ........ someone who can play the "number 10" role (their 7 or 8 current "No 10's " are all sh*te)

The whole Everton set up needs a good overhauling, the way they played last season was absolutely rubbish, be lucky to stay in the Premier if they continue to play the same as last season. 😂

Great news if the deal goes through. \:D/ Looking forward to the Toffees finding the back of their opponent's net more this season.

James was valued at around 75 million as little as two years ago so quite a slide there, no? Let's say Everton pays the approximate 25 million asking price for James, the talk so far is how Ancelotti hasn't been given any war chest to buy what he wants. So with another 25 million already gone for Napoli's Allan, is this all he's gonna (be allowed to) get?

Less than one day to make his entrance here; with an attempted 'serious post', of course. \:D/ Now there is certain to be a large increase of his 'banter posts' on the serious football thread  . Attention; attention; always that need for attention. :(
