I can see Matt80 jumping in here soon, and chastising OFT for stealing his thunder on all the EPL threads.
Good one. Perhaps I should have advised of my change to OFT. It was necessitated because my ancient computer is throwing tantrums, and refusing to allow me to log in under 'mathusalah''. Thankfully there is little prospect of the early return of the later to punish me, for my excellent impersonation.
Upon rechecking my original post, I considered the last paragraph petty, and below the standards I set for myself.

Hence the deletion.
When making my reference to Scotts College, I wondered whether my senile old mind was naming the wrong college. The college to which I refer is/was WA's large, and most expensive. It was in the vanguard willing to embrace, publicly, Association Football. The college changed it's curriculum to include allowing freedom to choose between Ozzie Rules and Association football The facilities provided to give the latter the initial momentum required, were second to none.
WA was the first Australian State to conduct a two week residential Senior Coaching Course, recognized by FIFA/FA .The accommodation and other essential services were provided by that college. At the time, the WA State Coach was the ex Portsmouth and England winger, Ron Tindall, who was put in overall charge of the course. I have long since forgiven him for failing me at my first attempt to obtain my Badge, which I was fortunate enough to obtain at my second attempt.
Since those days the rapid advancement of the code in Australia is evidenced by the National side qualifying for the World Cup Finals, on three occasions.
Anyone who is offended by this response to jackspratts being off topic , (which will most certainly not include any serious football fans), should immediately report it to Admin, ( perhaps as a group!

), where I am sure it will receive the most sympathetic of consideration.
PS. I am also delighted, and surprised Jack, at the form being shown by the Eagles this season. Lets hope they can maintain it!
