Re: EPL Banter Thread
Here it is, lovingly preserved for posterity, and for those who may look back with deep nostalgia, and disappointment, over the coming weeks and months.
Re: EPL Banter Thread
I can see Spurs EPL existential crisis deepening as the season progresses and eventually they'll probably go through a spate of qualified managers a-la the post-Ferguson Man U until something gives. For this season, Spurs will be treading water mid-table a-la the Everton of yesteryear.
Where's Poch these days?
Meanwhile DM should be pleased to see the west midlands Portuguese second national team starting off with a quick 0-2 disposal of The Blades.

It is supposed to check for "clear & obvious" errors leading to goals, and even sitting in front of my TV (with only one angle to look at) I could see the free kick was taken from 7 or 8 metres away from where it should have been
Re: EPL Banter Thread
I see Everton is playing a fair few not so strong teams up until 18 October. It will be disappointing if it doesn't climb higher than 8th. I'm looking forward to some more delightful screenshots from jack.

A man was arrested for violence at the Liverpool FC celebrations at the Pier Head in a dawn raid - and a haul of Samurai swords, other weapons and designer goods seized.
Police swooped on the home on Lancaster Street in Kirkdale early on Tuesday morning and made a series of discoveries.
The man, 23, was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder in connection with the out-of-control scenes at the city's waterfront following the Reds' first title win in 30 years.
But the raid also uncovered a cache of weapons, two swords, a knife, two knuckle dusters, a quantity of suspected class A drugs and a quantity of cash.
Also seized was designer clothing, handbags and jewellery, including a Tag Heure watch and a Gucci handbag.
Dior, Givenchy and Hugo Boss items were also found.
Police believe much of the haul was acquired through the proceeds of crime, they said.
A 44-year-old man from Liverpool was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, possession of cannabis and possession of criminal property.
A 44-year-old woman from Liverpool was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and possession of criminal property.
They have all been released under investigation as enquiries continue.

Re: EPL Banter Thread
Please can you tell me what the fc.uk this woefully amateurish copy & paste has to do with the EPL or banter for that matter?
For my sins I read this post (twice), then the article in the Liverpool Echo & could not find any reference to a particular teams allegiance. In fact in another article, the first miscreant had allegedly turned up at the Pier Head celebrations with intent of causing trouble so it could be deduced he is a rival supporter to Liverpool. Evertonian maybe?
The other two miscreants in the article which I suspect you copy & pasted about by mistake are just run of the mill druggie scallies with no mention of football whatsoever.
Are you trying to get this thread closed down before Everton screw up their season?
I see they’ve all been released pending further enquiries anyway. Perhaps to get back to driving taxis before fleeing to Nong Khai?

Peep peep! Everton go top of the Premier League, at least for the next eight hours, after an ultimately emphatic win over West Brom. The match was settled in a 90-second period just before half-time when James Rodriguez made it 2-1 to Everton and Kieran Gibbs was sent off for shoving James in the face.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin was the star with the first hat-trick of his career, while James again oozed class. It’s been a very, very good seven days for Everton.
