VIP or Exclusive Bus Travel from Udon Thani

Hi

Has anyone recently travelled on or does anyone know of, a VIP or Exclusive Bus Company that travels from Udon Thani to Bangkok and if so do they know the Company name and or where it starts from in Udon Thani. A Link to the Company would be great.

Hoping to find for a friend, a quality Bus Company, one with a sober driver, who obeys the speed limit, or am I expecting too much. Ideally better than this

Have you looked at Nakhonchaiair ? Their terminal station is in front of the Military hospital on Tahan Rd, maybe they pickup passengers at the Central bus station near Central Plaza. Their Gold Class service should be the best.

Nakonchaiair, used often the only company I know which have minimum two drivers for the trip to Bangkok, stopped halfway to change drivers, the second one got on at the stop the first one got off. sensible policy.

Are they now allowing dirty Falangs to travel on the busses....I thought they were banned.

Sorry, my mistake, I thought I heard about bus companies not allowing foreigners on their busses due to COVID, must of been fake news.

No it was not fake news, some DID object forgetting that many of us live here and not left, they were advised to be sensible , however since then no-=one onjects and complaining will not get you anywhere as RACISM is not a reason for a, complaint here

Had to use VIP about 6 weeks ago as problems booking a late flight back from BKK for any reasonable price. No problems apart from the fact that no food or drink service and getting in at some ungodly hour in the morning

Back on the topic of Nakornchai air .. just came up HW 2 and theres one of their buses laid on its side in the grass verge and trees about 10 plus kms outside Udon just before the Transport office in Nong Soong .. must ov been fresh as usually they scoop em up quickly.

Just because you were never refused a seat on a bus sometime in your long, meaningless life here does not mean that last June, the State-owned bus company didn't deny access to foreigners. This recollection also makes ntvl's comment 100% factual and correct.

If I were to travel by bus again (most unlikely) that would be my choice. OK slow, smelly but ever reliable and very unlikely to achieve enough speed to cause too much harm. No chance of the driver falling asleep with the challenge he is committed to!

jerk JOCKEY ..one of my favourite terms to use Tam.. i suspect however that image is photoshopped as a jockey that small wouldnt be able to get on a horse .

Btw the banning of falangs on the buses did happen around the time they were deemed unshowered and dirty... but i dont think there was any correlation of the two , falangs were banned from the buses for covid reasons not because they were soap dodging stinkies.
