Watties spaghetti

That tined rubbish is not spaghetti, it is some sort of carcinogenic material bathed in a questionable sauce with a heart stopping excessive amount of sodium chloride.

Do us a favor and eat some.

My Glaswegian mother did ram some down my throat as wee bairn, disgusting then, it has not improved. However, imitation tined spag, fried mars bars, chips with everything, over boiled vegetables, fry ups, etc do British cooking no favours.

Confession time. Love black pudding, smoked eel, Scottish shortbread (only at Hogmanay), Spam, spam and more spam, almost all English cheeses and my beloved haggis.

If you are gagging (sic) for haggis, Cheese 2 Meet You has Grant's tinned haggis in stock. It's great with home-made mince and tatties, sliced and fried on the breakfast plate but sprinkled over a regular pizza marinara sauce, it's simply awesome.

When I spotted it, I asked (the late) Andy how the product was shifting and he said it was moving well but declined to positively identify the eager purchasers by nationality (you know who you are).

I slice into thick steaks, bread crumb and shallow fry with tatties, mashed parsnips with plenty of garlic, pepper and butter and green vegetables lightly steamed.

I think god intervened on that quest , or thank your wife . maybe I might have to feed all the tinned spaghetti to the dogs , they won't like it , but at least no human will have to consume it.

Little know fact .. 9 out ov 10 people who eat tinned spaghetti and ir spam also have their letter boxes super glued shut so bailiffs cant deliver summons and have at least one window boarded up usually the lounge .

I haven't tried the beans but I noticed they have a 4.5 out of 5 healthy eating on the label.
