Luckily for me (unlucky for uncle), an outside tap decided to go pop & in typical Thai style there were no stop taps other than the incoming supply so all the water had to be turned off in the houses.
I volunteered to go get a new tap so could escape for an hour or so.

Yes popped up there yesterday, very nice, cannot quite understand what the weather on the outskirts of Udon has to do with this post however.
