Well Tuesday was coming back from Udon at the wrong time as St Marys was kicking out and lo and behold a smartly dressed woman managed to park the third lane of that four lane road, completely ignoring horns, etc, walk calmly into St Marys came out with one small child ( walkikng ) and got back and moved off, how do I know this, I was in the outside lane completely blocked up because of said woman and everyone was trying to get into the outside lane .
There used to be Police Officer monitoring that part but lately it seems even that is too much for them, they hide elsewhere now.

The recommendation from the teacher was pick up kids from school 'earlier than usual' as I assume the afternoon rush hour(s) may start earlier and last longer?

TBH, in all my zipping in and about the city between 9 and 11 this morning, traffic was exceedingly light.

Funny thing happened on the way to the school run this afternoon. The traffic was non existent. The statue circle was deserted coming and going. Everyone must have been with the VIP.

TBH, in all my zipping in and about the city between 9 and 11 this morning, traffic was exceedingly light.

Did the afternoon school pickups 'early' and at 3 p.m. my youngest was the last man (still) sleeping at kindy. Drove from PF's to Phosi road through the middle of town around 2:45 pm and it was a breeze. The east and north side of the city looks like its a holiday weekend, no big build up at the usual ring road traffic lights. I guess some businesses maybe closed and school classes ended early so that those that want to can get down Thanon Thahan for whatever's planned down there?

Sad news Brownie the duck noodle dig has passed away , came to my office every morning fir a scratch rub n tickle .. she was dam.good at it n i will miss the pleasure she gave .

Udon Christian School was on last day before latest round of holidays so my little un finished at 12 noon anyway

Just did the 6pm pickup.
No traffic or problems except for an arsewipe in a pickup did the usual turn on the green in front of a mum and child crossing at the posri rd and land office intersection. Crushed the bike. Patients in the ambulance.
Police in numbers at the school gates and other places ready for the VIP tour later.

Just a heads up ..

OH JOY .. people around the intersection of love .. Ring Road / Airport at Nadee all received notice the whole intersection will be resurfaced /concreted with work due to commence before the end of the year... time frame to expect disruption is 5 months tho that was the target at the Nam Sam Rong /RR junction and it turned out to be longer.

Being the main very busy Airport turn they will work 24 hrs and in the dry season could it hopefully be achieved on time ???????

DM was hoping wasnt gonna be till next year as im moving offices i may try to bring it forward.

As info only i will inform as soon as the first orange jacket n hard hat is spotted .

Yes, was a bit busy yesterday as those buggering off for their 6th (or 7th) long and unpaid weekend of the year filled up the charabanc and flew the coop. A lot quieter today with a moderate AQI.

What?! After that 6 lane wide, 800 meter long, traffic-lighted and floodlit airport highway boondoggle, they're NOT going to build double, elevated swooping loops like they have at Swampy to get on and off the bloody ring road???!!!

I would write to my congressman if I were you.
