my wife would have accepted this quickly again , but i did not , so we went to the old land transport office (more easy and closer than the big one on the road to khon kaen) near thalaad langsina, and did all our self ,first go to booth 3 and explain ,they will give you the needed application form , after filling in , paid 372 baht of overdue tax ,go next building to check the motorbike ,receive the needed form , make porobo opposite side 325 baht,and back to main office booth 2 , after checking all , paid 315 baht for new license plate (100 new plate , 100 new tax/year,100 administration 10+5 baht?,application forms? ),return the old license plate and been told to call after 30 days to check new plate has arrived ...
the tax paper has a stamp new plate within 90 days...
so total cost , 372+315+325 = 1.012 baht no where near 3.282 baht and my wife has learned something new ...
total time lost 75 minutes ...

so new license plate or replacement cost is not as expensive as most shops claim ,asking for an added cost of 1.000 to 3.000 baht when buying a new vehicle ,will update when plate arrives and possible extra costs? ...as info ...
