Anyway, back to the thread, in my opinion Le Gallery makes the best pizza in Udon Thani, if you like pizza and haven't tried it I recommend you give it a whirl, my personal favourite is the pad grapow, it's very nice.

Agree .. the pizzas are very good in between thin and deep pan base my fav is the Rejina with some fresh chillies chucked on top.

Im contemplating some where for todays nose bag .. might do the Gallery again , or PFs , CP , TB or BH .. lots of choices nowadays and all are dam good.

I enjoyed my Saturday visit so much i did a second yesterday .. nice to bump into a couple of Udons finest young teachers Sunny n Cher ,,sorry not Cher meant Gary ++)(*

Prawn cocktail again delicious
Bacon Chop chips beans n 2 poached heggs
Bread n butter pud with cream again ..just like mi gran used to make.
Yorkshire Tea .. possibly the most famous thing to come out of Gods own county !!

Bill 430 bt plus tip. so just over a tenner IMO excellent value service n pleasant AC atmos it takes some beating.

Last day in Udon taday ...is a third Gallery feed on the cards ... very tempted

On the few days i spend in Udon when i feel peckish i do tend indulge ..whilst in the bannork Buriram village i dont do a lot of cooking and survive on Twigs,leaves and rain water , after heavy rain a real treat is frogs on toast.

Decision still to be made on todays choice of Udon eatery but i can confirm now ....im not buying

On the subject of the Gallery .. Kev was telling us about the expansion plans , im sure when its completed will make what is already a very nice venue even better.. looking forward to seeing out it all goes.

supposed to reopen mid November but we all know how things go here.

Kev has had endless delays due to builders . boxing day private party is about all he can confirm at the moment

Dropped in a delivery to Gallery last week and the place is huge ..gonna be very very nice indeed ..Kev was there n did mention the headaches hes had n still having with the builders and all their BS .. he did also cautiously mention the possibiltybof a Boxing day kneesup.

Looking forward to seeing ut completed n enjoying the place n food in its new guise.
