No. You in a Scunny bobble hat is entertainment.

The Belend, less so.

PS: I missed the ironing event this morning. Too busy pulling you up on your gullibility. I won't be doing that again!

Plenty of muttering from Boris about 'WTO' and 'Canada rules' and 'Australia option' during PMQ's a short while ago. I reckon it's a fishing expedition to see how the markets respond and how the mighty £ does. Meanwhile...

The implications for the £ should be helpful if a deal is agreed.
The pound continued to rise against the dollar and euro on Thursday, amid continued optimism about the possibility of a Brexit trade deal and hopes that a quick US trade deal could be possible too.

terrible news .. for sure in some ways the UK will be tied to the EU .. the end of Boris and the Torys... he /they have betrayed to people who voted in 2016 , most of whom wanted a clean no deal total LEAVE.

The proof will be in the pudding, no? All 27(?) EU member nations have to give any deal the nod but we are assured that this is a mere formality. The Polish and Hungarian fishermen haven't exactly risen to the occasion. Better luck next time.

More impotently (note the deliberate play on words there) it will be "debated" by the UK parliament with the latest best estimate date for that "proclamation by Zoom" being 30th December.

Squeaky bum time for all concerned... and the louche Jacob Rees-Mogg. I wonder if he'll "pull a Leadsom" and whip the ERG's carpet out from under Boris's feet?

So still time for the wheels to come off Bojo's big red bus. Plenty time actually.

Typical blustering from Boris and Lord Frosty the noman hailing a ""great"" deal for the UK .. some details coming out and on fisheries a 5n half year transition  .. so not actually taking back control of our waters for a long time .

Being touted as Canada style deal but it isnt ... 2000 pages  ..

1500 pages DM, 1000 of which are references to annexes and other documents. Unfortunately we will have to trust the negotiating teams integrity because no one will be able to go into the complete fine detail before the 30th December vote. Fish was always the 'Red Herring' so to speak for the UK, same as Ireland was used by the EU as a sticking point in the negotiations. The fact that we are back in control of borders, the Services Industry (the City) will hardly feel any effects and existing manufacturing contracts with the Dictatorship will continue is really what it was all about. Just think pre 1973 we had a 12 mile UK waters monopoly in 5.5 years time we will have a 200 mile UK monopoly. Many happy herring. Merry Xmas

Just read/skimmed through the 34 page synopsis of the agreement. Admittedly written by the UK Gov but seems pretty emphatic that the UK is totally free of the EU's dictates and any future interference from them in our domestic or International matters. Will be interesting to see what changes to the deportation rules the UK makes to get rid of the East European mafia's and terrorists currently protected by the ridiculas EU Human Rights Bill. Lots of Left Wing wailing and gnashing of teeth for the next wee while. Happy Days.

I really miss proper fish chips n mushy peas .. preferably out of paper with scraps and lashing of salt n sarsons ... still to find the real deal here .. best ever Steeles chippy and restaurant in Cleethorpes huge Haddock fillets =P~

Image

Back to the Bjo Deal that was oven ready now as more info coming out its more like over cooked and burnt around the edges especially fishing and NOT taking back control of our waters .. for 5 plus years and even then the EU can impose tariffs on other products if the UK stop EU boats fishing.

So time will tell if NO DEAL is better than a Bad deal ??? .. looks like the British parliament wont be scrutinizing and or voting on the deal where as the EU parliament will .... will they ok it or vito it in parts ??

Well when you turned your back on your country DM you shouldn't really care what happens to the UK. We can eat proper Fish & Chips n mushy peas unlike the slimy Mud fish out of the Mekong you have to eat. We can now judge ourselves instead the European Courts passing judgement on us.We are better now out of Europe then if we stayed in. Once WE start demanding protection from Muslim grooming gangs the government will have to act. Yes our future is looking a lot brighter today thanks to our leaders standing up to the European bullies.
