As several people have noticed and commented on, Tiger is not showing any schedules on their website for Udon/Sing/Udon after 28 October.
I rang their Singapore office yesterday to find out what was the situation. The woman I spoke to said the flights would continue, but they are still negotiating with the government (I guess the Thai govt) over the rights.
It would be interesting to hear from members who have flown with Tiger on this route what the loadings were like on their flight.
When I flew Sing/Udon in early April the plane was nearly full - mainly returning workers (both male and female) coming back for Songkran I guess.

As I posted the Tiger experience was all OK. One little point to look at is their exchange rate. They charge $s to $AU at 1 to 1 so they pick up a tidy profit on inflated prices through the currency exchange. 25%
Bugger, I hope the flights continues.
With TA setting up OZ HQ in Melbourne I was hoping to go Melb-Sing-Udon.
Oh well, where there's a market there's a business!!
When the TGF & I flew out on May 17 the plane was around 1/2 full (1/2 MT??) mainly Thai workers heading into Singapore. The Thai Govt should be encouraging this form of income as it would be better money than in Udon. =D>

Just checked the Tiger website, and they are showing UT/Sing/UT flights for November, which I assume will continue through to 2008.
Schedule seems to be the same as current ie
UT/Sing - Sat, Tues and Thurs 0900 - 1245
Sing/UT - same days, 0645 - 0830.
The schedule is not showing in the Flight Schedule area. You can find it if you put in some dates for a dummy booking.
Good news for former (and current) residents of Sleepy Hollow (sometimes known as Perth).

Even better news for for residents of Wide Awake melbourne. They are running a combo from Tulla to Darwin to Sing to hook up with the Udon leg. Much better timing wise as we leave Tulla at 20:00 and arrive Sing at 03:50. The Perth run is OK but 2 X 4 hr beaks makes it a long night. Service runs 28 Oct until 29 March 08. And bloody cheap. $500 Au Tulla-Sing-Tulla including taxes etc. Should put the wind up Jetstar. YIPPEEEE
cheers

If you don't mind a bit more work on the computer, I suggest you have a look at the fares for the individual legs of the trip, and compare them to the combo fare.
Each time I have done it for Per/Sing/UT (or return), the sum of the parts is less than the combo.
However, if you are going to do it this way, also confirm there are seats available for each leg before you start actually booking.

Thanks Jack. The fare they are promoting at present is a fair bit cheaper than the individuals.
Interesting article in todays Australian regarding the looming price war between Jetstar & Tiger. The verballing has started, prices next.
Cannot book yet as daughters passport has not been received. (bugger)
