Night market get togethers got decimated when they made the market "No Smoking".
From then onwards there were usually more people standing in the "smoking" zone than there were at the tables
Might be better now that a) less than 50% probably still smoke and b) those that do still smoke have had years of practice in going extended periods between "puffs"
Anyone fancy organizing an "All New Night Market get together" when the covid thing finally dies down?
Be a good way to remember Ralph & the others who are no longer with us :-k

As I remember, we sat on old wooden seats with old wooden tables
When those wanted a smoke just moved over to the Cul-de-sac a meter away.
I never forget BKK Stan and his poodle would sit on the table. where people eat! Ralph, Billy(Vlad), BWD (UK now) Saint, Rick, Oh many forget now!
Was great! Good memories!

Plug วัดราษฎร์สงเคราะห์ into google maps. The temple is located off the right hand side of Highway 210 as you're heading toward Nongwahsaw. The temple is building a huge Buddha statue visible from the highway.

Being unable to go, does anyone have an update of attendance and how the Funeral went, I was sad I could NOT attend , however I am sure Ralph would of understood.
An update would be nice from someone who cared enough and able to attend, from us older members of Udon Farang Society

Yes .Here are a few photos I took. Must have been about 200 people attended!
Normally 6 monks? There was 14!
Ralphs brother gave a brief talk on Ralphs history.
He said Ralph told him He had a good life and enjoyed his life.
Sad ending to a good heart. But We all have to face the inevitable
RIP Ralph had some good memories.
