Weather in Udon ?

Well it rained for a good 30 minutes out my way

I set out for a pootle about on my bike at about 5pm & 5 mins in heavy raindrops started. Heavy enough for me to stop & think whether I wanted to carry on as it was only a pleasure ride. The dark clouds looked in the distance so I decided to carry on. It rained for another 5 mins or so but not enough to wet the ground over. The sun then came out & it’s been dry since

No rain around Chez Niggles apart from the few spots early yesterday evening. Turned the AC off around midnight & it was quite pleasant. 22 degrees this morning with slight breeze.

The rain in other parts of Udon must have dragged the crap out of the air as the AQI is a third it was yesterday

yup, looking at the weather in lower Issan it appears it rained there and then the winds blowing clean air from that direction pushed the nastiness away. Hope it continues through the next day or two!

Funny you should say this but we've just got a really strong smell of burning engulfing the area. Had to bring the laundry in & close the windows

The wind picked up & it cooled right down last night. It then sounded like it had started raining so I looked out of the window to see it was the noise of nearby banana tree leaves flapping in the breeze.
No evidence of rain when I got up this morning.

AQI is building again so I guess there wasn’t much rain elsewhere in udon to drag the crap out of the air

Some thunder showers coincident with Friday rush hour. Passed a 7 car shunt in the northbound fast lane between the Jiffy PTT and the Nong Samrong turn off on the Nong Khai road. Cop in attendance but otherwise driveable vehicles left in place while awaiting their insurance agents.
