I just tried it again, and again, no error. I use Chrome, no VPN. I wonder if it could be a FB issue....

I’m using standard Safari on iPhone, iPad, MacBook without any VPN so a Thai 3BB assigned IP. I could access the UM page on Facebook without any problems but clicking the link on the home page returned the error. Like I said, cleared cookies & website data & logged in again but it didn’t make any difference.
Just returned to a device, saw your reply so thought I’d try again & this time no problems
Maybe trying again & again with your admin login reset something, who knows?
Seems okay now, you just need to get some up to date posts

^^^ Don't see any 'bug' on UM on the computer or the smartphone.

There's a line of gobbledygook at the very top of the page:

[phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file [ROOT]/ext/phpbbseo/usu/event/listener.php on line 561: Indirect modification of overloaded property phpbb/user::$lang has no effect

But that's been a 'feature' for at least 4 months already and has already been dismissed by Admin as not life threatening.

Yes, I reported it in May 20 thinking it was a problem with my browser but its still there causing no detrimental effect to my forum experience

If it's the overlaying of thread titles on some threads when viewing a quick links menu that's the "bug", does it do it in another browser?

As highlighted on a different thread viewtopic.php?f=1&t=52666&p=606980#p606980 there are some problems with UM pages rendering correctly.

My experience is as follows:

On my tablet (Android using Chrome in the Active Topics page, but not the main Forum page.

There is no issue on either page using Firefox browser on the tablet, nor on my phone (Android 10) with either browser.

PC is also OK.

Given that there is a specific forum on UM for Forum Help, Support etc etc, and a specific thread within that forum:

viewtopic.php?f=16&t=51404

IMO that would be the appropriate place to raise an issue on this new problem. Rather than shoe-horning into a thread with a totally different subject.

As I have also suffered from the same issue, I have put a report on the thread page above.

I'm sure it does.

However, I CBF trying to compose an email on a 6 inch phone screen, plus attach a screenshot.

Even more so when I was able to send a solution via the forum.

An update to my earlier post - the problem highlighted by Bluejets is also showing now when I look at the Active Topics page via Chrome on my PC.

^Or we could try & apply a bit of process & elimination. I might be mistaken but can only see JS saying what device & OS he's using. It would be handy for technical problem solving if other members experiencing the issue said the same.
I don't know of any tech person, no matter how good, that could diagnose the problem from the scant information being given.

I'll kick off a bit more with the devices I have access to

Macbook Safari - no problem
Ipad Safari - no problem
Iphone Safari - no problem
Win10 Chrome - no problem
Macbook Chrome - problem on both Unread Posts & Active Topics. Cleared Board Cookies & Chrome Cache but still a problem

This would start suggesting its a Chrome compatibility problem but lets see what other browsers are being used
