Good question SFG. Since most malls are pretty dead by that time, it seems redundant, no? I guess there may be some hi-so malls in Bangkok that crack on late until the member clubs open. Tamada, it seems to read that all shopping malls must close before 9PM beginning on Thursday, but I don't read it as totally close indefinitely from that time forward. What's your take on it?

I guess they must mean specific areas but nevertheless no one in or out. How will this affect all the Songkran travellers if they can’t go home for the foreseeable future?
