only one word to describe this mornings weather .. POSITIVELY St George like SUPER SMASHING GREAT GLORIOUS FANTASTIC .. light breeze sunny ...gonna be a steamer later .. back to the weather and rain is forecast for next week heavy for 4 days Thursday 8 til Sunday 11.

Started at 28 for me but very quickly rose to the current 34 & hey, all you keen weather buffs following this channel, I have a new metric to report, 75% humidity

As suspected the AQI has taken a rather big jump into amber territory. Can ya smell it?

To make a pleasant change i was woken up by thunder and heavy rain not mi dogs lickin mi face this morning ... big rain thunder lightning commenced approx 5am in the hiso Westside suburbs and stlll raining now all be it not as heavy.. temps have plummeted and a cooler day in prospect.. rain forecast for the next few days with some real good stuff at times.

Sadly it has washed away the lastest new temp frontage road surface so looks like no exit n entry again until the roadies get the stone laid ...which is already here in several large HGVs parked outside.. footpath slabs arrived but im thinking a tad optimistic getting any of those laid til next month..

This project will run over ..not good for the contractors as there is a daily charged penalty clause according to the boss roady with the big helmet.

Still raining here near the Tesco Lotus Boulevard.
The electric went off at 6am.They are trying to repair the fault as the fan starts to move slowly every few minutes but no success as yet.
Fortunately it's nice and cool with the rain and not the 100f we have had in the afternoons recently.

Lots of flooding on the way into town, not good in a Honda city. Battery light came on at one point ,went off again and then engine warning. Pulled over stopped and started up again , all was good. Took the ring road back as its a Honda not a submarine

Rain has stopped .. blue skies and the current bun is trying to come out to play.. but rain returning this eve and overnight.

A nice 31 as the sun goes down but the only wind is coming from the ceiling fans. Nevertheless, pleasant dining on the patio.



AQI has improved as well which is a billy bonus for all the wheezy kids

Following yesterdays rain, it was nice after an afternoon of sun to be able to cut the main lawn. Wondering if rain overnight will halt gardening this morning. I had no rain overnight so work re-commences on the patch as it were, just waiting for the overnight dew to evaporate . Very pleasant at 0500, cool , no breeze, but very high cloud could be a tad warm today.

Just checked our friends at ACCU and forecast is for a few days of heavy rain starting after lunch today thro til Sunday , pleasant morning so far in the modern up to date part of town.

1-15 pm .... First of the forecasted rain arrives on Udons Westside ... only looks like a brief heavy shower as its still bright but a more prolonged splodge this evening and overnight with near 100% chance in the wee small hours ... possible fai dap for the England game ?? would be a bummer.
