same for me.. went in, put in my e-mail address, error. Exited went back in and when entering my e-mail address it now tells me "the e-mail address is already taken.." I think I'll go out to the shed, get that 4kg small sledge hammer and hit myself in the head.. Thanks fo rthe Info U.S. Embassy!!!!! Obviously you didn't check the site to see if its working. Why would you peform due diligence when distribtuing information??

I can imagine the registration site is currently getting hammered with people trying to register. It may be worth while waiting a few hours, and try again.

I was able to get past the valid email (.gmail.com) stage, and received an email with a link to the registration page. Everything went smoothly up until trying to attach photos of my passport and visa, which has now settled into "processing" with spinning arrows for quite a few minutes.

Hence my suggestion in the 1st para.

My suggestion is if you use a local clinic get the local Doctor register you
This was how I did it, the wife spoke to the local Doc
I did nothing found it extremely easy

Niggly it does not say email address NOT VALID, it says email address already taken ( Email address "@gmail.com" has already been taken. ) of course you just did register them, software design problem.

Nope, definitely said “email address not valid” in red under the entry bar. (For three different email addresses)

I just navigated the registration process same as Mr Sprat and it allowed me to register ok ... a message came up confirming success and requesting me to check my email every 24 hours for further information reference an appointment for the first vaccine.

This is the text of the confirmation email:

Your registration for the FIRST dose of COVID-19 vaccination is successful.
Once available appointment slot is sent to your email, please confirm within 24 hours.

Failure to confirm within 24 hours will result in the cancellation of your preregistration.

For those residing in provinces other than Bangkok and neighbouring provinces (Nakorn Pathom, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Samut Prakan and Samut Sakhon), the Ministry of Public Health will assign a vaccination site in your area. Your vaccination allocation will be provided according to priorities set by the Ministry of Public Health, i.e. age group, vulnerability, high risk zone e.t.c

OK. got registered BUT.. The original website where you click on visa category specifically states "and dependents" yet it didn't have anything in the registration process for my wife?? BTW, the site didn't like my Hotmail or Yahoo e-mail addresses but processed with my GMail Address. Perhaps a momentary glitch??

Other than age, I don't have any of the qualifying conditions.....but I was able to register. We'll see what happens

Didnt have a problem with the site ..... got e mail within 1 minute, filled it in then .........

It wants a copy of passport and visa, which I dont have, AND it wants a copy of medical cert which I dont know for sure, but wouldnt be surprised if my Dr in UK refused to send on the strength of an e mail request. I suspect that the only way they will hand that sort of info over is in person (and I'm not going back there just to get a medical cert)

I was able to register as long as I excluded my medical conditions. It refused to accept my medical certificates from Bkk Hosp. Totally half assed operation if you ask me. They should have had all the glitches worked out ahead of time considering this is NOT the first time the Thai govt has tried to register us foreigners. Previous attempts were a disaster as best I can recall.

I thought the advent of computers was supposed to cut down on wasting time?

Dont the Immigration Office currently hold records of all ALIENS how old they are, where they live, how long they have been in Thailand, how many kids they have, how long they have been with current girlfriend/wife. e mail address, phone number map to property etc etc (and it would appear from the last few days IP address if they want it)

Why not just sent an invite using their own acquired knowledge/records?

As promised some new changes to the provinve colour code number and restrictions .. this takes effect from.midnight Monday 2nd August

Udon remains red

Dark red now 29 provinces from.13
Red 37 from 53
All remaining are Orange
Now no yellow as Phuket has moved to orange

Above to be implemented for the next 14 days MIMIMUM with next sheduled meeting 15th Aug where it will.be updated ... gowever authoutities are already predicting this to be applied til 31 August

site says regardless of age. also the 1st category of visas is any type/with dependents. Best to make a copy of that when or if you actually get an appointment. Take your wife and children with.

I somehow doubt they will need to physically see that you are providing for dependents before they allow you to get your shot, surely just informing them will be enough

Better take the letter from your bank. They will certainly be interested in seeing that, too.

I tried the registration about an hour after it opened and got the red "error #476" message. When I tried again with the same email address, I got the message the email was 'already in use'. An hour later, I tried registration with an alternative email address with the same results. Gave up.

Just after midnight, over 12 hours later, both my emails have received a confirmation of registration email with the link to complete the registration with the requested details. No rush.
