2 months ago the health officials came to our village (Baansanaran) and collected names for registration to receive the vaccine...Had to provide my yellow book (13 digit number) as this I believe this is the only way to be entered on the Thai system..!!!
Today I got the call to go to the university tomorrow between 1 and 3 to receive my first dose.
I have no idea as regards what vaccine will be given and to tell the truth I am somewhat dubious whether to go or not.
But the good news for those who want ASAP I was also told that the vaccine is available tomorrow at central plaza for all people over the age of 60 including us farang's between 9 to 11 in the morning and 1 to 2 in the afternoon....( No appointment needed.)
I would suggest to try and confirm this as I take what I am told with a grain of salt or just go along and see..!!!
But please do not shoot the messenger...I am only conveying what I have been told.

Thank for your replye..Went to sighup ,BUT like i stated i'm HEALTHY..and the Goverment site is only for those who are considered NOT healthy.

The government website applies if you are older than 60 years.

Please note that priority is given to foreign residents aged 60 years .......

Other reports have also stated that plenty of people <60 have signed up - but they won't get priority.

you said others get priority using this site. Well I hsve signed up, over 65 with Medical Condion and associated paperwork from Doctor sent in and NOTHING. I have spoken to friends and the same zilch, nada, neit, big fat zero, nothing from hearing vack frm the,
So who are these others that have signed up and how do they know ???

The website states who will get priority, so your query is best directed to the owners of the site.

Haven't thought this through,so please forgive me..But wouldn't it have been better with two sites.One simply for people who have medical conditions,and one for us who don't have medical reasons,like me and many else.

Why ?? no need for duplicate sites ..just register on this site and see what happens .. when you complete the registration it requires date of birth etc and ask for medical issues to be listed and backed up by documentation .. the authourity operating the site and there after the appointments schedule will do the rest..alternatively ask KP !! im sure he has the answer.

I registered (twice) , im under 60 no documented health issues but at 101 kgs classed as obese but didnt bother to mention it just left that box blank .. now patiently waiting to see what happens next.

You can also register with date of birth & leave the Medical Conditions box blank. You don’t need to have one of the 7 conditions

Well i registerd now with photo of my pink ID card..13 digits..I also added that i'm 6 moth pregnat with tripplets ..see if that helps..nah,just kidding..Added that i have NO medical conditions and healthy.

He says foreigners will be given Sinovac, AZ, or Pfizer.
If I take either of the first two, I will have to quarantine for 2 weeks in my country if I go home.

This Hobson's choice is fully expected. All the good stuff is already spoken for.

I had a listen - as Jello says, starts about 11.00. There is plenty of waffle, but for me there were 3 pertinent points:

15.20 - Appointment notifications should be coming out in "next coming days"

15.50 - You cannot choose your vaccine from what is available ie AZ, Sinovac or Pfizer

18.40 - Communication re appointment will be coming from the relevant hospital or vaccination point in your area, not the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
