AFL finals approaching which team will take home the trophy
Getting to the pointy end of the season with a very open finals series coming. Any of the top eight could win on their best day, i am predicting Melbourne Demons to go through in the AFL and Melbourne Storm to take the honours in the NRL.
Re: AFL finals approaching which team will take home the trophy
I'd like the Western Bulldogs to win.
I wonder if Jarryd Hayne will get to watch the league grand final live on the telly.

With the way my footy tipping comps have gone this year I'll select the Eagles just to put the "kibosh" on them.

It's probably the most even the league has been in years. Just about any team can knock off a fop team this season.
My team the Bombers knocked off the Bulldogs last week.
Theres still 3 or 4 teams that can squeeze in to the top 8 in the last few rounds. Exciting times ahead!

Be a few people pissed off if the Grand Final comes to Perth. With the shut downs across most of Aus and a full Stadium needed to bring in the Dollars it's a real possibility ...

If the bombers win tomorrow....
I think they are a chance to play in the final given luck...
PA looks the goods at the moment but all can change.
Happy to give 100 to one odds on North Melbourne if anyone wants to take...
No...Make it 10000 to one...!!!!

Thanks Dero - a combination of your "kiss of death", together with a boundary umpire who is blind to a ball which is half a metre out of bounds, has consigned the miserable Eagles to the fate their last 6 games have warranted.
Shockers may be on the rise - good luck to them.
Eagles - not so much. Perhaps if they stop trying to play "pretty footy", and get down and dirty. Talent isn't everything.

Agree...That kick was clearly 18 inch's out of bounds.
Essendon would be so happy tonight.
Can not wait for next week...
Going to be very interesting.

For those in Thailand and cannot access live matches via cable etc google up afllivescores which will give you access to up to the minute live scores for your favourite team. Given that the AFL have abandoned the bye prior to the finals, the inability to rest key players will play a big part in a teams progression.

I think Toby Greene got off pretty lightly. A three game suspension seems a bit light to me.

I read the Sandgropers have said "no" to Fat Eddie. He isn't as important as he likes to think he is.

The original penalty should have had an additional 12 game penalty set aside for 2 years on the basis of no further indiscretions during that period. He is a very talented player who must frustrate even his most ardent supporters. The apple has not fallen far from the tree when you consider Toby Green’s father was charged with headbutting a police woman after GWS previous Grand Final appearance in 2019.

When I first saw it, I thought he would get a minimum 6. There was nothing accidental about it.
Thought the Ump handled it very well

What a loser. The Bomber needs his mummy to look after him.
I say throw the book at Jimmy Bartel's ex. The police should take action. She also needs her mummy. And a lawyer.
