Re: https://expatvac.consular.go.th/
Well at long last something positive seems to be happening, after turning down two opportunities to have the Sino vac, which I might add caused big problems between my wife and I , as she was of the opinion , possibly rightly , that anything was better than nothing, as I was determined I was not having any of that Chinese stuff in me, as I had a date for 2nd Sept in Non Bua Lamphu to have the AZ shot and was prepared to wait, well last night got a phone call followed by a confirming SMS that I have appointment for next Monday '23rd 10am at the uni in Udon for the Pfizer dose, as a result of my registering for the online expat site , the nurse also said they are concentrating on the over 80's and if we know anyone in that age group not registered, they can go along taking all the papers requested on line with them and they will get a vac.Don't hold me to that as it was only a verbal offer, nothing in writing but possibly worth a try as she is senior staff .She also said they are starting on over 75's the next day .So peace reigns in the grumpy house again .

Good news, it sounds as though at last some action is happening after registering for the Expat Vaccine site. One of my friends is hoping for a KK jab of AZ, but I did point out that also means having to go to KK for the second jab. For him a 2 hr, 30 min drive both ways, something he had not actually thought about .

POSSIBLE PROBLEM WITH VACCINE REGISTRATION via BANGKOK HOSP. KHON KAEN
I probably should not be spreading gossip, but this might save some of you a nasty surprise. A friend just called to report that he got an email from BKK HOSP advising that they would contact him to re-schedule his appointment for the jab. I am in the same situation as he, but I have not gotten this email yet.
It's a little complicated. I registered successfully for the A-Z jab, and later, rec'd a email advising appointment for tomorrow, Sat 21 Aug at Central Plaza. The email asked us to reply with confirmation. However that email also said:
" *** In Case of changing Vaccine Please Reply us with in 24 hours due to date and time of service. ***
So me and my friend emailed our confirmation saying that we would prefer Pfizer if possible, but that if not, A-Z would be OK.
I have not heard since them, but it seems like they cancelled his appointment and will contact again by email to re-appoint.
--
Other scuttlebutt we are hearing that some falang have been rejected at the vaccination site because they sent a copy of the wrong visa. I am not entirely clear, but apparently, like me, some interpreted "visa" literally and sent a copy of that rather than a copy of the latest "extension" and that seems to be a problem.
Sorry to throw some confusion into the process, but I think it is probably easier to take if you have a "heads up" and can prepare yourself.'
I was told if you want AZ turn up. Else wait for a new appointment 5th and 12th of September "should" be the dates.
there were over 400 people replied to change Vaccine and they are trying to reply to them.
I did get an email after that.
From: BKN Certificate <bkn.certificate@bangkokhospitalkhonkaen.com>
Sent: 20 August 2021 05:14
To: Subject: ตอบกลับ: Confirm registration for vaccination
I acknowledge that the vaccine will be changed as requested. Please wait for the email to inform the appointment date again.

If you want Astro Zenica you CANNOT SHOW UP at Khon Kean
The Vaccines are alloted to an individual after they sign up on the web site. THats is the first thing
I was there today and the system is very very professional and well organized. Loads of people to help using English skills
The whole process takes less than 30 minutes

Sorry for any confusion, my post was a reply to people with an appointment not getting a response as quoted in my reply. Turn up if you want AZ and have an appointment. Else wait for a new appointment for Pfizer if you replied to the email wanting to change your vaccine and not had a reply.
I am happy you had a good experience and all went well. Thanks for the update as the Pfizer we are waiting for should be the same.

If you’re still interested, I registered & have not heard anything since the email confirmation.
We’d already registered at the local clinic which was visible here https://kps.udh.go.th/vaccine/ & interestingly (for me anyway) after registering on the expat page, this one started showing a queue number. I was number 17000 until yesterday when it changed to 25000.
However, the exact rounded to a thousand numbers suggested it’s not particularly accurate & also Mrs N getting the same queue numbers & not registering on the expat webpage suggest it’s purely coincidental the information appeared at the same time
I’ve been checking the https://kps.udh.go.th/vaccine/ page every other day or so since mid June to see if a date had been entered which it hadn’t up until last night. Just checked tonight & the records have disappeared completely, just a banner in red saying we have not registered.
Also successfully (?) registered on https://expatvac.consular.go.th/ but heard nothing since the acknowledging email. Didn’t even get one of the register again emails a few days later like other members here.
We’ve had a phone call from someone claiming to be representing Provincial Health telling us when to go to the Uni for a jab but nothing written or emailed.
I’m just hoping the phone call has superseded all the on line registration & they actually know who we are when we get there. Only time will tell I suppose

Well there you go, just had a SMS from expatvac confirming my appointment for this afternoon. Looks like the right hand is now talking to the left??

Re: https://expatvac.consular.go.th/
Last night received a message stating my Phizer Jab was scheduled at Rajahabhat Auditorium at 1430 today, this was I expect as a result of registering with Expatvac website, as I have have nothing else to secure a vaccine .
Re: https://expatvac.consular.go.th/
I got my first Pfizer Jab at the Rajabhat Monday the 23rd and scheduled to get the 2nd on the 13th of Sept. I also got an SMS lhe evening of the 24th advising me that I was now scheduled to get a Pfizer jab at 1430 today the 25th of August. I've no idea who originated the SMS. There was nothing indicating it came from EXPAT VAC. It could equally have been somebody at the Udon Provincial Health Office sending it out and in my case erroneously.
If it indeed was EXPATVAC it isn't in accordance with their registration e-mail which advised:
Your registration for the FIRST dose of COVID-19 vaccination is successful.
Once available appointment slot is sent to your email, please confirm within 24 hours.
Failure to confirm within 24 hours will result in the cancellation of your preregistration.

The SMS did not come from the Health office as Mrs Dero they gave them her number when she registered me on Monday. The message arrived on my phone.

Got there 40 mins before the appointment time due to my bad planning & went straight through all the stations quickly & easily. In fact the only small delay was a group of farangs crowding the first desk trying to what looked like register. 2m ya selfish t**ts & a big nose is no excuse to sling a mask round the top lip. I still wear underpants
A quick 20 min relax & we were on the way home

Re: https://expatvac.consular.go.th/
A very smooth operation at the Uni site, found out how I got a message, seems that upon registering for the Vabbine at the Local; Health Centre some months ago that information was fed into a computer coupled with Expat vaccine site, meant they had all details, down to zero medical problems, although that part had to be filled in again, ( they do love using up the trees ).
They appeared to be doing tweo possibly three strains of the vaccine, although Pfizer was predominantly Foreigners . Very slickly run, from one station to another clutching scraps of paper , given water, and lots of medical Advice if suffering from any problems, although my offer of a Rum if I felt unwell was looked down on with a smile., last station for appointment the papers you guarded so carefully, looked at and then discarded as yet another piece of paper was given to you for the next visit one month apart from today .
In and out in 40+ minutes ...no problems .

no, I never received a rejection from EXPATVAC.. Again,I've no idea who originated the SMS telling me to go to the Rajabhat today at 1430.. It didn't say.. If it was EXPATVAC as mentioned it wasn't in accordance with the information they put out in the registration e-mail.

Re: https://expatvac.consular.go.th/
I didn't nor did the friend I set up an email account for and registered. When I dragged the passport info over I did the cover page 1st then the visa extension 2nd. Whether that made a difference or not who knows. And what would have happened if I tried to attach the book of heath conditions my friend has, probably would have crashed the site completely!Brian Davis wrote: ↑August 25, 2021, 3:37 pmBandung_Dero wrote: ↑August 25, 2021, 6:51 amWell there you go, just had a SMS from expatvac confirming my appointment for this afternoon.
