I find it interesting that after they have us register at numerous online sites, send confirmation emails and have us check for email appointments they then ask you to drive to Udon to register to get vaccine. I live in Nam Som, 2 hour drive to Udon. If not for UM I would not have known to register in person. Still no email appointment. Happy I went to BKK to get vaccine last week. 8 September is return trip. TIT

It seems you drove to Bangkok, and will be doing the same for your 2nd jab.

Isn't that a lot further (distance and time) than 3 x return drives to Udon?

I'm flying down to BKK on the 7th and returning on the 9th. Cheaper than driving. The point of my post was there was no email about vaccine only word of mouth. And if not for UM, one would not know that vaccine was available. It was not available when I made decision to go to BKK.

SORRY i should of also stated .... It was in Thai language not English .. so i sent it via a Thai mates phone and we linked as group chat so they could translate the detail .. i sent my name , address all info etc in Thai.

** Just had a call from a mate here in Udon been told registration for vacs tomorrow is now closed .. not sure how accurate and IMO its worth a trip to the MOPH to at least try.

A farang went to the Udon Health Office today and a sign on the door said they were no longer registering anyone for the Pfizer shot. He went in anyway, and they registered him and gave him an appointment to get the Pfizer jab.

I went to the same office early Monday morning and they told me to go to the Uni and sign up there. Went to the uni and two hours later still no one there to sign me up. So my wife goes back to the Health Office with my pp and gets me registered right away.

Went and got the jab today---very smooth--- and done in 1 hour, but at the last station they tell me I can't come back in three weeks for the 2nd dose of Pfizer because I already had a Sinovac jab.

They told me I needed to "Wait" for the second Pfizer, but none of them would tell me for how long--even the nurse there. And somehow, call me cynical, I suspect there might not be another Pfizer jab sitting in fridge with my name on it to be administered at a later date.

Maybe it's not a vaccine I need, maybe it's a Valium.

Methinks you did not inform them that you had already had a first dose of Sinovac.

So you've had your two doses(and you decided to mix and match), don't be greedy, why should you get 3 jabs....Booster shot next year buddy!

just got sent a video of soi samphan being decontaminated ,guys in full protection spraying everything . reports of all establishments being closed , east side of town also apparently all restaurants closed down.
