To answer GTs question, the watering was done with our irrigation system as it is done everyday when it doesn’t rain. The turf sods have taken perfectly & are beautiful & green. Pictures to follow when I can be bothered.

im starting to think niggly has an issue.. i mean, has suffering from an age old curse . the urge for the Englishman to have a perfect lawn. ive seen it many times, making the wife water the lawn twice a day, mow it 3 times a week, freaking out at a dandelion popping up. give it a year he'll have a ride on mower with a half ton roller on the back .

Yes, I have to confess to liking a nice, manicured lawn. I’ve got a 48” cylinder hand mower in the uk after it was recommended by the local crown green bowling club.
Watering is easy (when it’s not raining) all you have to do is turn the tap on. Even I can manage it although I like to leave it to Mrs N & Yai.

One thing I’ve never seen though is a dandelion. Do they grow in Thailand? I’m sure Chumpo with his green fingers & tiny patch of wasteland will know. He can send in a reply later tomorrow, it’ll save me consulting an imaginary gardener

Yes but Jonathan can’t read & he’s the biggest culprit. What with the running, scratching, pissing & crapping. He enjoys himself though

28 light breeze & overcast (from what I can tell through the darkness)
Isn’t it ever humid though, 85% according to my watch. Luckily it’s cooler/less humid inside watching Netflix

Well woke up this morning and its like normal day in Grimsby .. dull dark murky and raining ... , high chance of rain for the coming 7 days so rainy season is back after a lull .. cooler temps = no sweaty under man boob creases and lower Y front moisture levels so happy days...looks like its in for the day as my old gran used to say!!

Today and for a few days seems similar

High 29 ... night low 23 ..
Wind light from SE.. 3kms to 13kms (unless eaten baked beans)

Didn’t hear a thing last night.
The banemometer looks like it’s taken a beating though, leaves shredded as they’ve whipped against each other in high winds.

Only 24 with a light breeze this morning. All paths are dry but the grass is still nice & moist which is good
