Re: https://expatvac.consular.go.th/
Dm that was what I was told, however unlike many on here I did only TWO registrations as stated, did not go anywhere else , multiple registrations or I politely call it running around like a headless chickens , may have confused the system set up and hence allocation problems etc.
I felkt after being assured that somehow someday76 I would receive a vaccination at no cost I was willing to wait . Not go galloping off tpo here there and everywhere to register myself on at numerous places , which meant I would think mutliple entries for the same name and address. Speaking from previous experience very time consuming and may leave them wondering just how many , for example Fred Bloggs they actually have in Udon for example .
That would be a nightmare to sort out if they are all completely literate in English 100 % let alone as a second language with not so good reading ability . I do feel some have added to the problem regarding registration , by multiple registrations in the same location . ,
But then to each their own, one wonders what the panic was ......!!

YES, never went to any office or place to get my vaccine or for that matter RE$GISTER . For the illiterate amongst us that is a YES. hope they can all understand the English as some seem to be having difficulty.Drunk Monkey wrote: ↑September 3, 2021, 10:30 pmKP .. spare us the waffle .. can u confirm.n prove your recent pfizer vaccine was via the expatvac online registration.. and u did NOT have to go to the udon MOPH to register also .as most confusion seems lead to this ???

Re: https://expatvac.consular.go.th/
I was near the Udon Health Office and decided to check the situation. I'm still not entirely certain who is supposed to send what, when and to whom, but the girl today indicated they had a list there of about 40 farang, awaiting delivery of another batch of Pfizer. But she couldn't say when that might be. This time, they actually asked me to complete a form with basic information and hopefully that means my name has been added to the list, although I had hoped it was already there from what the previous girl said!
Re: https://expatvac.consular.go.th/
Still waiting a response from the nice folks at MoFA for instructions on where and when to get my first vaccination in Nong Khai. I've emailed them a few times (2) and they've instructed me just to wait.

Ole Trumpie knocked Wuhan Flu on the head in two days. Chris Christie, in four days.
I like my chances.
Re: https://expatvac.consular.go.th/
Got to get pro active...
There have been many posts on UM about Pfizer jabs.
Can not understand why some people just sit and wait..!!!
Many of us have had our 2 jabs already.
Maybe the only choice now is Sinovac as has been announced for all in October and beyond.
Should have got it done when you had the chance boy's.

Re: https://expatvac.consular.go.th/
How about it being a tad safer in my living room than milling around in queues of hundreds of people none of whom at the time have had a jab. Bit like tommy going over the top in ww1 great if you make it but not so good if you get cut to pieces trying
Re: https://expatvac.consular.go.th/
I think the realisation that those that pontificate and moan and groan about personal choices and freedoms are NOW realising like a friend of mine, you cannot go home if you are not VACCINATED.
Now I admiot at the beginning I was like many others susceptible of this Thai Governments promises to vaccinatge others, popped off to the health Centre to register initially , then waited, wondered about spending money to secure a Jab from a provate hospital, but decided against that as knowing Thai Provate Hospitals it is all about money and ,so right I was, now people are beating a path to get their money back.
Then the local chaps told me to register on the Expat site for a vaccine and lo and behold I got the Phizer ( twice ) .
True there are arguments against, but have any mof you suffered from Polio, Mumps, Rubella, TB, or Smallpox, how many have had in jections for flying off to strange places, yet this VIRUS has caused you all to look at it, discount it and decided nope, yet thousands are dying from it those of you who are unvaccinated and NOW truth is coming out
I have been told that the AZ jab manufactured in Thailand is NOT accepted in the UK, Sinovac and AZ is not acceptable either.
So delay if you wish BUT WISHING TO GO BACK TO YOUR OWN COUNTRY WILL BE NIGH OPN IMPOSSIBLE ACCORDING TO SOME unless YOU HAVE BEEN VACCIN ATED WITH TWO of the WHO, recognised jabs , and also TO YOUR HOME COUNTRY, AND AS FOR FLYING WELL THAST IS ALMOST A NO GO AREA`.

AS far as I am concerned, I'm already in my own/home country (the one where my home has been for about 20 yrs, Thailand),
I would not go back to the country of my birth now, even if someone paid for me to go.

OK, that's up to you, but as a loose comparison with similar health conditions if we get the virus it will probably cost me 100K Baht. You in ICU, without vaccination, will be 1Mill Baht if we both are in, say, BKK Hospital Udon. Re: https://expatvac.consular.go.th/
Perhaps I wasn't clear with what I meant. I'd happily get the jab when available here (I'm on the list I hope) but am not prepared to line up with dozens/hundreds of people who may or may not have covid in the hope that may be I can be jabbed a bit earlier. The risk is just too great. With luck, I will get an appointment sometime in the near future and be able to attend a hospital/clinic with far less chance of coming into contact with a covid carrier.

Re: https://expatvac.consular.go.th/
they had a vaccination clinic open at the Udon Thani Hall at Central Mall on the 4th floor today. Doing a lot more younger folks. I'm pretty sure it was sitll open for walk-ins for those "waiting for a jab opportunity." Yes, it is SINOVAC 1st jab and Astra Zeneca 2nd jab but something is better than nothing. Oh, no crowds either with 2 meter social distancing...
Another aside on BKK Hospital. When I was checking on the Moderna status (oh late October or November.....) they had a sign hanging from the ceiling saying COVID Vaccinations 4th floor. I asked and was told that is for SINOPHARM both doses and you pay. I didn't ask the price but am sure its lower than their pending Moderna jabs.
