Staying In your living room is a great idea...
But where has your girl been while you wait at home.
Thai girls love to go out and gossip...I am sure your girl/wife is the same.
I am sure she has had more contact with people than the line up to get the jab and with no social distancing.
Do not worry...she will bring Covid home to you..!!!!!

Thankfully so far she has managed to avoid doing that ......... she has to have a PCR test before she's allowed indoors (can't be tooooo careful):-"

I think the realisation that those that pontificate and moan and groan about personal choices and freedoms are NOW realising like a friend of mine, you cannot go home if you are not VACCINATED.

Received an email to go for first Pfizer jab this Thursday at Rajabhat. Whether an appointment has come via my registration in the above scheme, or because I walked into the Public Health Office a couple of times, I really don't know. Heh, I may yet be allowed to see games in person in UDFC's promotion effort!

I just got the same email notification. Since my only link is via the expatvac enrollment, i think it's safe to assume that's how you got on their invitation list too.

Have they also called you to confirm as well? I now have 3 missed calls from mystery Thai numbers. I am in the UK and it's milking time here.

Received the same 4 times - along with the email links for 200 others on the same distribution list.

I suspect there has been a major farkup at the MoPH.

You received the original email plus three others from the dimwits that used the "Reply all" to decline the offer. Ideally the sender should have used the "Bcc" option instead of "To" for what's supposed to be an anonymous mail list.

No harm done though, no personal information has been compromised here.

Ok. You're very likely correct, as I don't recall leaving my email when I walked in to the health office, but it was, of course, on the registration application. No 'phone calls received in my case.

I'm sure many of us feel that organisation and efficiency are often not Thai strongpoints, then you have to add excessive red tape on occasions. The time I've spent waiting in offices, hospitals, clinics etc. since living here, likely adds up to years. But today, 2nd Pfizer jab at the Rajaphat and I was in/out in maybe 20 minutes. Excellent. Well done.

Same for me on Monday. In fact that is too effective, because that document they give, tells that you have been there 30 minutes to make sure that no side effects has been noticed. I was almost back home when follow up period ended.

The first NHS jab facility I attended had a pretty young lady tasked with noting your name and time of arrival in the 20-minute, post-jab holding area. You couldn't leave until she told you that it was OK. On the second jab, it was based on the honesty principle and the retired doc who jabbed me at around 15:45 suggested I could leave around 16:00. All I can say is most folks arriving after me had an odd perception of 15 minutes.

I knew that various countries have been kind enough to supply Thailand with vaccines helping with the fight against Covid , BUT when did they set up NHS facilities here
This certainly is going above and beyond

Looks like someone's synapses are misfiring (as usual).
