As best as I can determine, it is on the NE corner of Nong Prajak - corner of Tasa Rd & Suppakitchanya Rd.
Opposite Municipal #2 School.

Agree with your review of the burger - tasty and filling. The bun was excellent, and the beef pattie spot on.
I ordered the chicken pieces with spicy Korean sauce as a take away, and enjoyed them for dinner tonight.
Sport - the burger included fried onions, and a fried egg, along with tomato and lettuce. Probably could have done with a little less of the over-sugared Thai mayo.
No beetroot, or pineapple ring, unfortunately.

Re: The Burger café & bistro
Stopped in tonight for that alfresco cafe feeling on the footpath.
Good food, chicken wings a bit salty. Double cheese burger, spaghetti carbonara, fish and chips, and an Aussie burger.
Sport, no beetroot but a cabbage type coleslaw.
Overall a pass tonight and a nice spot to sit outside and watch the others watching us.
Oh yeah, an unusual outcome for us when cruising on the udon social scene, a few nice cold Chang.

Re: The Burger café & bistro
Can someone please explain why all the restaurants in Thailand put lettice in a burger? It's not supposed to be hot it should be crisp not limp so why stick it in next to a hot meat pattie. I blame McD BK & the like

And here I was thinking we couldn’t get a negative comment on a thread.
By the way the lettuce was not hot, just placed how every true burger in the world is made.

But then again who are the non British to even talk of or compare how the placement of lettice on a traditional country meal should be.

Re: The Burger café & bistro
Not a negative comment Barney, it was a general comment on just about every burger I've had in Udon from many different locations. I just wondered if someone could explain why its done rather than have it separate on the plate.
Re: The Burger café & bistro
I've had burgers in maybe two dozen countries worldwide and the only time I had lettuce served 'on the side' was at Fuddruckers in the US which is a DIY, build-your-own burger place. You eventually place the lettuce IN the bun along with the rest of the gubbins and eat it.stattointhailand wrote: ↑February 1, 2022, 8:51 pmNot a negative comment Barney, it was a general comment on just about every burger I've had in Udon from many different locations. Re: The Burger café & bistro
Well I think it is because they assume that the Foreign population will like it as much as the locals.stattointhailand wrote: ↑February 1, 2022, 7:46 pmCan someone please explain why all the restaurants in Thailand put lettice in a burger? I must add, if you do not like it, do not eat it, no need to make a negative comment. Just ignore what is there, as I do with many dishes served up in restaurants I use. Simple.

Thanks Jackspratt, looks like if I want to enjoy the worlds best hamburger I better stay in Oz a while longer.
Barney, did you eat all that food yourself, how is the diet going. Looks like I had better open another bar when I return and produce the best burgers for Udon burger lovers like before. And I dine at MacDonalds and Burger Kxxg now and then for a change. Gotta use Iceberg lettuce for the best results, that other lettuce type does not cut it.

Sport sorry I didn’t answer but it was a 4 person shout.
I’m back again tonight. Flying solo so bored at home and treating myself to a feed.
Got my starter on the table now. Coldest beer on Nong prajak.
