True, but Canada has an outstanding goalkeeper, whatever his name is, and their offence will dominate the ball leaving the Mexicans little opportunity to get their offence into gear. Don't forget Canada is ahead of the U.S., Mexico and Panama in this most competitive of divisions. The press is already predicting that with a little bit of luck, Canada should finish no worse than fourth, and the top three automatically get to go to the Cup final in the god-awful furnace that is Qatar. It's going to be as hot as blazes over there, which will be a hindrance for Scotland, Canada, Wales and Iceland.

They haven't accomplished that feat yet.

Oh but they are. The top 4 are home and hosed. When you follow football, you will understand that, statistically, an inferior nation (say, for example Scotland) will only rarely beat a superior nation (let's say, England). When they do, that's commonly referred to as "giant killing" and only happens when there is little at stake.

The US, Canada, Mexico and Panana are presently footballing titans in comparison to Jamaica, Costa Rica, El Salvador and Honduras and the chances of successive "giant killings" over the course of the next few rounds of fixtures are minimal.
