Ironically if he knew anything about guns he would have known the first rule which is never point a gun at anything that you do not intend to kill. Period. Very few people locked their houses and they left the keys in their cars. Some of my friends got in trouble for minor things and had to go to court for not respecting the police. On the other hand most kids were polite and left off with a warning for the same offense. Spitting on a cop would certainly result in being slapped around. At that time, the parents didn't object because they knew their kid deserved it.
