Later in the day, the President said, 'Biden acknowledged that the verdict in the trial "will leave many Americans feeling angry and concerned, myself included." He said that everyone "must acknowledge that the jury has spoken." - https://www.cnn.com/politics

Horrors, I just quoted CNN!

Pity the police at the Capitol building didn't shoot a lot more, clear case of self-defence.
They couldn't do that, the rioters were WHITE.

It looks like President Biden sides with the decision of the jury. Earlier, the President incorrectly labelled the shooter a white supremacist. The people shot, I think, were all white.
This just in: The white folks that the opportunist paramedic Rittenhouse shot at were opportunist BLM rioters. You know the type, those pesky opportunist palefaces that disagree with y'all and should know better.

Why is it that cities with the strictest gun control have the most crime?
Because criminals do not obey laws. Only law-abiding citizens do.

The kid should get a medal for ridding the country of a couple thugs. The police have their hands tied because of the libtard politicians. The police would be in trouble for trying to stop violent thugs. Had the police been able to do their job to protect and serve this would have never happened to start with. A businessman killing a thief would be charged with murder. It just gets worse every year.

Thinking about it when I was growing up, we had no love for the police but we were certainly afraid of them. It's a very fine line between fear and respect. Both work equally well.

Quick draw Mcgraw Baldwin is an anti gun liberal doofus. Ironically if he knew anything about guns he would have known the first rule which is never point a gun at anything that you do not intend to kill. Period. Any person trained in handling guns knows this. His ignorance resulted in the death of this young woman. It does not matter that he was told the gun was not loaded.

Baldwin screwed up big time, and will have to live with this for the rest of his life. Unhappily, the life of the young lady is over.

It's a good job you didn't work on the Rittenhouse defense where it is was suggested he knew how to handle guns but still pointed his at people (and pulled the trigger). All his tearful claims about self defence and not wanting to kill anyone undone by professing to knowing the "rules" about how to properly use a gun.

Oops, sorry. That's right. He was illegally toting the AR-15 that night in Kenosha. So he probably doesn't know these "rules" about not pointing a gun at people (and pulling the trigger).

Dumb kid should have stayed the f*ck at home with his mom.

Strange people, our forum conservatives and RWNJs.

They laud a kid who is a double killer - Rittenhouse, while previously lambasting another kid who is doing her best to make planet earth more sustainable for the future - Thunberg.

Kyle was in legal possession of the rifle, the prosecution admitted it during the trial, and Judge Schroeder threw out the gun charge before the jury ever deliberated.

In a free society, people are free to cross state lines and go wherever they want to go. That includes going to cities that are under siege where friends and family members reside. Kyle was initially there to help clean up after the night before.

Judge dismisses weapons charge against Kyle Rittenhouse just before closing arguments begin in his homicide trial
The defense team said the count should be dismissed because the AR-style semi-automatic rifle Rittenhouse brought to an August 2020 protest was not short-barreled.

Prosecutors had repeatedly argued that Wisconsin's statute was intended to prevent minors from accessing weapons, but on Monday they conceded that Rittenhouse's rifle was not short-barreled. In his ruling, Schroeder noted that the law was poorly written.

In Wisconsin, adults are legally permitted to openly carry firearms, though minors are prohibited in many circumstances. But Rittenhouse's defense attorneys had argued that the specific wording of Wisconsin's laws didn't actually bar a 17-year-old from carrying a rifle with a long barrel — only short-barreled weapons.

That's not a good question to ask an Ohio farm boy. We all had guns, but at that time the police did a good job of protecting us. Very few people locked their houses and they left the keys in their cars. Some of my friends got in trouble for minor things and had to go to court for not respecting the police. On the other hand most kids were polite and left off with a warning for the same offense. Spitting on a cop would certainly result in being slapped around. At that time, the parents didn't object because they knew their kid deserved it.

Country folks need guns for hunting and home protection, that's a universal. Do they need an AR-15 too? More to the point, does a kid with a 'legal' one need it in Kenosha where he doesn't even live?
