As for electric vehicles Electrics are TANKS
"Batteries are heavy. That's why, generally, electric cars weigh considerably more than otherwise similar gasoline-powered vehicles. Take the GMC Hummer EV, for instance. The Edition 1 version, which has lots of batteries for additional driving range and power, weighs over 9,000 pounds. That's roughly three times the weight of a Honda Civic"

You are hysterical. What has a Hummer v's a Honda civic got to do with a mass produced electric vehicle? Hummer EV, the name is in the badge not the engineering. so Zip, nada. Why even mention it?
As for 80 litres of petrol, the tank weighs nothing???? or does the petrol swill around in the passenger cabin? It does not need a tank, pump, fuel lines, petrol filling cap etc. How much change out of 80KG including fuel? Not much is the honest answer.
Now you failed to mention anything about motors and transmission, a small block V6 weighs around 240KG, a V8 a good deal more, gearboxs are around 50KG. So motor, gearbox, fuel tank etc totals around 370KG+, now add on radiator and coolant, electric fans and the battery needed to start the engine, engine mounts, gearbox linkages, etc etc, you get get close to 470Kg. Weight of batteries for a standard S series Tesla is 478KG (not 600KG as you claim), plus of course motors. Not a big difference, and other vehicles are way lighter than a Tesla.
Electric motors are more efficient than a petrol engine, so the energy consumed over the life of an electric vehicle is staggeringly lower than that of a petrol engine. That is why the early, and an accelerating shift is now underway from petrol to electric.
Best being part of this forum by placing the intellectual challenged on foes list. A lot less post to read and a great time saver.
