Actually the New Lake behind the Border Police camp is less crowded and probably cleaner air than Non Prajak now.

A great running track! It even has a sign to tell you, you should be running and in which direction.

Was that 10 million for the Nong Prajak cycle path ONLY, or for all city parks? I haven't biked around NP for well over a year so has it deteriorated badly? The track around Nong Bua Chinese temple lake looks good and they repaired some deep gouges fairly quickly. I just wish they would demarcate the bit where you have to bike around the outside of the temple entrance. The grass verge is wide enough on the short, really dodgy bit to make it a meter wide bike lane. Stick some cobbles along the outer edge like they did on the roadway around NP and around Tungsrimeuang and Walking Street.

Anyone have a source for the 10million? A photo of one of those blue construction signs, perhaps?

When they rebuilt the track at Nong Bua park, they poured 10-15 cm concrete slab reinforced with rebar mesh which should last for several years. The main concern would be how did they prepared the ground before pouring the concrete was it compacted or not ?
Enjoy your park.
Stay safe.

The only thing is to go to the Goverment house and ask for them. The 10 milions was extra money from BKK to do this cycle path
