Somethings won't be going back to the way they were. Quite a few people are keen to keep working from home. Employers are kind of forced to permit this to a certain degree with their best staff. Otherwise they'll leave for somewhere that permits it.

One of my brothers has employed a NZer who lives in the US to do work remotely for him in NZ. He also has staff in other NZ cities. Previously they were all in Auckland. Things have changed.

I have one 40 year old niece who is an accountant in Bangkok for a large firm. She does most of her work from home. Her older sister, 42, works at the OYT Autoparts Company down near Rayong on night shift doing stock work. No remote work for her. Up here in Udon, I think most of your regular jobs are service oriented so no chance of working from home on those either. Was over at Home Pro the other day and they had literally dozens of staff "helping" the customers...
