Re: America coming apart at the seams?
Since you are bringing other countries into the conversation, Doodoo, tell us what Nigeria has done to curb the senseless violence in their country? Prior to this weekend's needless 50+ deaths, there were 200+ killed in another Nigerian massacre in January of this year. Anyway, to concentrate your mind, here is a list of massacres that have occurred in Nigeria for you to ponder and reflect upon.

Because no one really gives a crap about what goes on in Nigeria, how did trump discribe them ?. Or how about mexico ? How were Mexicans discribed , do you think anyone in the US gives two hoots about mexicans killing each other either. Very interesting you line america up with an African country. Both overrun with guns and idiots you mean?Laan Yaa Mo wrote: ↑June 7, 2022, 4:08 amSince you are bringing other countries into the conversation, Doodoo, tell us what Nigeria has done to curb the senseless violence in their country? Re: America coming apart at the seams?
No, Doodoo. You indicated that other countries, unlike the U.S.A., have solved their problems in regard to gun violence. If what you say is true, indicate how Nigeria has solved its problems with gun violence. This is not a comparison between Nigeria and the U.S.A. It is an attempt to get you to back up your claim that other countries, in this case Nigeria, have solved their gun violence problem. Can you back up your statement or not?
Hope this helps,

Re: America coming apart at the seams?
You seem to have misread the question. Doodoo has indicated that other countries have, unlike the U.S.A., solved their problems with gun violence. I am asking him to demonstrate how Nigeria has done this since both countries (Nigeria and the U.S.) seem to be plagued with gun violence. It has nothing to do with whether people care about Nigeria and Mexico. It is about Doodoo proving his statement to be true.papafarang wrote: ↑June 7, 2022, 4:52 amBecause no one really gives a crap about what goes on in Nigeria, how did trump discribe them ?. Why did you chose Nigeria though? I thought the successes of the UK after Dunblane and Australia after Port Arthur were pretty obvious that even Doodoo doesn't need to provide a wiki.Laan Yaa Mo wrote: ↑June 7, 2022, 7:08 amYou seem to have misread the question. Re: America coming apart at the seams?
when you read through the posts you realise that apart from the poor humour and the idiotic remarks by some the situation in America is NOT getting better .
Daily we are bombarded with really silly and stupid comments from AM<ERICAN Politicians as to the cause , from mental instability to downright cussedness .
Basically people are stupid , there is little if any permanant deterrent due in part to the Liberal Brigade, who not want Executions but happy that people can kill each other. Tom allowing people to carry firearms openly without a permit. I have seen videos ( of which there are many ) of Stupid law Enforcement officers pushing the legal boundaries and what frightened me more is they are LEGALLY allowed to carry guns and many portrayed are certainly suffering form too much EGO.
I recently saw one supposedly Chief of a Police talking to a person just walking past a facility and his conve3rsational ability was less than a 10 year old.
So the problem is sadly Americans themselves and only THEY can sort it out , but as they VOTE in idiots will take a long time.

Re: America coming apart at the seams?
Japan seems to have some sense
"In a striking bit of irony, Japan owes its strict gun laws largely to the United States.
When the U.S. occupied Japan after World War II, it disarmed the country. Americans shaped the legislation that took firearms out of the hands of Japanese civilians. To this day, that means getting hurt or killed by a gun in Japan is an extremely long shot."

Re: America coming apart at the seams?
perfectly understood Nigeria plagued with militants , mexico plagued with cartels . what i meant is who cares what they're doing about it, none of that affects american school children. unless you are worried about nigerian militants and cartels shooting up american children ?Laan Yaa Mo wrote: ↑June 7, 2022, 7:08 amYou seem to have misread the question. Re: America coming apart at the seams?
I just want Doodoo to indicate how one of the countries, in this case Nigeria, solved their problem with gun violence. Nothing more, nothing less. If you read his statement, you will see what I seek.
Let's see how he answers the question. Your answer is valued, but it's Doodoo that needs to demonstrate how countries, in this case Nigeria, solved this problem.

Re: America coming apart at the seams?
Focus, Doodoo, focus. Try to answer the question posed that can justify your comment that countries, in this case Nigeria, have solved their gun violence issue. If you cannot, just admit it.Doodoo wrote: ↑June 7, 2022, 7:13 amOnce again Lala you grt others to do your work

Re: America coming apart at the seams?
there's probably a lot of latinos/ hispanics/ mexicans who are concerned about guns south of
border. as they comprise 25-30% ? u.s. population
