Brexit domino effect - EU28 Kantar poll
Re: Brexit domino effect - EU28 Kantar poll
Yes, the terribly high price of fish and chips in the UK is an interesting story. Not as good as the Harry Windsor news, but getting up there.

The good old burger is going to be Kxng in the UK. This means the Americans have finally taken over Blighty. And they didn't even need a Johnson free trade deal to achieve that outcome. What's next? Baseball to replace cricket as the summer obsession?

No way GT............ curry is k ing
There's enough curry houses to save cricket for a few years
Not been in blighty for 20 odd years, are they transitioning into Haggis n chips or fried Mars bar n chips?

I'm not aware of a fish and chips crisis in NZ. After your last post statts, I'm curious about what kinds of fast food are most popular in NZ.
Anyhow, are any other countries agitating to get out of the EU? None come immediately to my mind.

The most memorable fish & chips I ever ate was in Nelson, New Zealand. A nondescript little storefront shop where you walked up to the counter and ordered. The fish was fresh and perfectly fried as were the chips and they were served wrapped in paper. Maybe I was particularly hungry that evening but I don't recall ever eating such delicious fish & chips. Just one of those experiences you never forget.

Had to look Balti up .......... not spent a lot of time in or near Brum so not familiar ....... back in my day they were "curry houses" or as my mate used to say "wobble 'ed shops" ........ I doubt he'd get away with that these daystamada wrote: ↑June 17, 2022, 7:47 amAnother know nothing from the English diaspora. You can mod all you like but it still cant change history ....... listened to some old recordings on you tube last night including Henry Belifonte with the banana song ......... "tally my bananas" etc etc would have "the offended" falling over themselves today
