I got a chance to have a beer with him a couple weeks ago. Very interesting guy. For Doc's sake, I hope China doesn't have strict non-smoking laws.

Just read his latest blog, very funny esp Doc's run down on the Orgasmatron.
Trying to get to look at room in a Chinese Hotel, hearing the loud cries of passion from women, from three different rooms in the hotel as he has walked along the corridor.

My bet is that you will be back in LOS's before the year is out.

Doc does China? An interesting character but a survivor. If he signed a contract then he will stick it out until the end of the school year next June-ish. If he tries to leave earlier they will chain him to a desk.

Doc Does China?

Those of us older guys who dallied with those porn classics remember similar titles involving a lass named gals like Debbie and such -- whether we ever bothered viewing the trash, of course!

How fitting that Doc is now venturing off into that suggestive realm!

I'm honestly yearning to learn if the babes yonder are inclined towards the dalliances our delightful Thai gals we adore so much can frequently be relied upon to provide...if rumours are valid!

Maybe Doc shall need to summon some Farang recruits for this experimental comparison...should he not manage the necessary muster, of course.

If need be, any single guys willing for an adventure in that direction?

I spent a week in Beijing and Shanghai in 2005 and swore I would never go back,unless someone paid me.But now I have to admit it was very interesting,because the Chinese aren't really geared up for tourists.Its very safe,but they will try to scam you with a smile on thier face.I loved Hong Kong and would recomend it to anyone.

1/The jobs are in: Nantong
2/Salary is RMB4200-4500 each month.
3/Start date: 1st sept 2007-30th June 2008
4/work schedule:16 teaching periods per week on mornings or afternoons from Monday to Friday.
5/ Student level: Adult
6/ Free accommodations(equipped with TV, kitchen, washer, internet and bathroom) and round trip ticket for 1 year contract.

Salary is not that good - approx TBH19,000 per month (max).

A bit better when you factor in the freebies - accommodation, health (same as other staff?).

Cost of living would be roughly on a par with Udon.

I am not sure what Doc's habits were in LOS in relation to the fairer sex, but while there will no doubt be countless opportunities in China, he may be very constrained by the generally strict rules applying to university accommodation
